This kid, so dedicated, like his Mother.
Reese and Desi Mistretta. We have come a long way together. Full circle, from the USA Boxing Metro Junior Olympics, both multiple Golden Glove, Ringmasters and National Champions over 25 years or so.
Together we are here, still here. In the foxhole. Keeping the circle small and protective.
All eyes on this awesome young athlete. Reese will be well loved. My respect for his Mom getting through it and raising such a good kid.
My respect for all those that assist in Reese preparation. Such awesome consistent assistant coaches that came from the same place Reese is in.
And to the one that walks up those steps, a kid that is like a Son, the ultimate respect, because that’s who gets it, the combatant. It’s all about You and we are grateful to serve you.
We only have joy when you have joy. I see you smiling happily in this debut in the corner. Not disrespectfully, but joyfully.
We will not act the fool. We will be professional. We respect our opponent and get at it. All Day Everyday.
