A lot can happen in a decade. 2016 was the last year I competed in the IFBB Men’s Physique Division. My IG post would have either been a dirty locker room mirror selfie, a stringer work out video, a flexing post or an indoor skydiving video or pic. If you asked me what I wanted my life to look like in 10 years. I would have said a Fitness influencer that has multiple IFBB titles under my name and a few Olympia top placings 😆. I’m happy to report life is way better than I could’ve wished for.

Holy transformation Tuesday.

You might remember ._jmorept aka Dr. Shreds as a busy parent transformation or a HXBRD athlete. Most people once they attain the goal of the initial weight loss are satisfied and continue along with their lives. Not this guy! He wanted to push the envelope, go on a bulk and add some lean mass before cutting again. He continued on to the road least traveled.

After holidays travel(Q4/Q1) and running through a good strength followed by a hypertrophy program he was ready to cut again(Q3). I posed a challenge of going into elite ranks and going into single digit BF% territory. He was game and more. This man is a beast. Next up is another strength and performance block in preparation to pack on some more lean mass. 🫡Josh!

Last minute decision to run a 10K. Literally it was between running the race today or taking tequila shots last night 😆.

Although I’ve been consistent in my strength training and running the last 4-5 weeks - I’m at my heaviest I’ve been in a long time, my conditioning is at an all time low. So why run a last minute 10k or 6 miles? Simple answer to do something difficult with a buddy!

Until today the longest I’ve ran in the last 4wks has been 3 miles. I did z2 for 45mins 3x a week and had 2-3 training runs a week. Mainly for health, for a bit of fun as well as acclimating to the heat. The goal today was literally just to finish. Surprised myself by pacing good enough to open it up at mile 4.5 and sprint at the finish. Cheers to doing difficult things.

aka The diamond was able to go through a true preseason, in season, to peaking program for a natural bodybuilding show. On plan from Jan to August. He worked his ass off through many different protocols, load management strategies, varying intensities, new movements, behavior modification, macro counting. Imagine the amount of social events, outings, and family gatherings that occur in that time frame. Now imagine doing that while having a kid and two jobs. 🫡 Pressure makes diamonds and that describes this man perfectly. Although it didn’t work out and he was not able to step on stage he executed the plan and all the adjustments and attained a look few will people will ever experience. The true victory was the process of problem solving and staying on track when there are literally ENDLESS amounts of ways to convince yourself logically to call it quits.

Enjoy your time with family, there will always be a stage for you to grace.

Strength stability mobility and power = FUN

Being stronger, more powerful and in shape helps with longevity and general athleticism. REALLY though all those things help you be more involved in the play aspect of life with your kids. You don’t have to lift your kid over head or launch them in the air or have them balance on your hand, but it’s a hell of a lot more fun if you could 🤷‍♂️

This is 34.

I’m extremely grateful for the seemingly small moments that have compiled into the very things needed to make for this very moment. There’s a quote I always say to remind myself of that very thought, “ If you knew the importance of this very moment, you’d be on your knees in gratitude”.

I’m spending my birthday with my wife my daughter, some good company in our happy place. What more could I ask for? There’s no words of wisdom to be had, no shared lessons, only gratitude.

Thank you again for all you do! If you know me personally, you know she’s really the one that makes me seem so put together 😂. Thank you all who’ve supported me directly or in directly. In business, in my content and in person. It means the world to me knowing that my work makes a positive impact in one’s journey toward their dream outcome. Much love y’all. 🫶🏾

So you want to get in shape, still be able to enjoy the food you love… but are a busy parent and don’t have time to focus on yourself. Right?

You are not alone.

This is how Dr. Josh Moreali felt too once upon a time!

Having 3 kids, being a full time PT and co-business owner comes with a lot of responsibilities.

Dr. Josh didn’t know when he’d have the time to even think about what work outs to do and what he should be eating to get back on track.

But, he was FED UP with being stuck.

He was OVER, thinking that his fittest days were behind him.

He was SICK, of the acceptance of the dad bod.

He was TIRED, of making excuses.

This was the perfect time for him to get started on the busy parent program.

It all started with the busy parent program.

Mainly 15 min workouts, adjusting his nutrition through out the day to be able to enjoy a sit down meal with the fam.

Thank you all for the interest in the HXBRD Athlete program and transformation inquiries! The response from the transformation story has been amazing. Since I haven’t been actively posting on here about the programs I was definitely surprised from the response.

That being said I’m now at my capacity to where I can fulfill my coaching obligations to the best of my ability.
