Hello everyone,
The Roosevelt girls soccer program is holding a Raffle Fundraiser to help raise more funds to purchase sports equipment, uniforms, parkas, and pay for game day nutrition! Tickets are $20 a piece. Two drawings will take place on December 18th at 7pm on Instagram live! One drawing will be for the 65” LG UHD TV prize and the other drawing will be for the Pokémon edition Nintendo Switch prize. Electronic tickets can be purchased by scanning the Venmo or Cash App QR codes on the flyer. When purchasing electronic tickets make sure to have the following information in the notes section: (First Name, Last Name, PH #, Prize of Interest). Make sure to purchase your tickets before December 16th!

Nice little agility/dribbling drill to get your heart pumping.
1. Two footed lateral jumps over hurdle (four jumps) followed by quick dribble to opposite hurdle, and repeat.
2. Ice skater hop over hurdle (four) followed by quick dribble to opposite hurdle and repeat.
Can you do ten in a row?
If it’s up, then it’s up!
Did you know a lot of movements that are done in the sport of soccer are done on one leg.
Exercise: Combining single leg plyometrics, single leg lateral movements, and of course incorporating a technical component w/ball (instep volley), try doing ten in a row, makes it look easy.
