HERE ARE THE TOURNAMENT RULES!!

INFO:

Every participant must have a Discord account in order to participate. The tournament will be held online on February 29th, 2020 at 11 AM. Check-in for the tournament will begin at 10 AM on the day of the tournament.

DISCORD:

The tournament will be held on the Discord app. If you do not already have Discord downloaded & an account with Discord, please take the time to create an account and download the app on your phone or computer. This is the only way you will be able to participate in the tournament.
Further, your Discord display name must be the same as your EPIC display name.
The Discord server link will be posted on the day of the tournament when check-in begins.

FORMAT:

The tournament will be held on a single elimination bracket. You lose and you're out! The player with the most kills total across 3 matches will advance to the next round! Once your match has been verified, you will have 10 minutes to begin your match. If you haven’t started within 10 minutes, your opponent will advance and you will be disqualified from the tournament.

RULES:

NO SABOTAGING! YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM YOUR CHANCE AT 400 DOLLARS!
You may not break down another player’s build, break their vehicle, or team up against the player you’re against to get them killed!

Kill Stealing will be allowed as it adds to the competitive nature of the tournament.

SCORING & SUBMISSION:

Every kill = 1 point

After your round has been completed, the winner of that round will report the final score to the “WINNER” text chat in Discord. Please note that if you lost that round & you report a winning score to the chat, you will be disqualified.

TIE-BREAKER:

In the event that you and your opponent total the same amount of kills across the 3 matches, you’ll continue to play until the tie is broken.

SETUP:

You will be playing from your own setup at home. So get comfy, and bring your A game! ANY DEVICE IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE! PS4, XBOX, PC, MOBILE, ETC.

PRIZE:

The winner of the tournament will take home the 400 dollar grand prize!
