Go from overwhelmed and unsure to informed & empowered yogi mama.
You will walk away with a greater understanding of yoga dos and don’ts, prop support, postures for pelvic floor strengthening and much more. We will close out the workshop with a 30-minute prenatal flow.

· Benefits of prenatal yoga
· Safe prenatal yoga for each trimester
· How to customize your current yoga practice to be safe for you and baby
· Core and pelvic floor strengthening
· Breathing exercises to use for everyday during pregnancy, yoga, and birth

· How to safely flow and transition from mat to standing

Ready for ultimate relaxation? Join BGY Sundays at 10 for Restorative Yoga. Relax as tension is released from both body and mind.
This practice is a deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.

Avahana Mudra creates grounding and centering. It can help with digestion and increases feelings of deference and dedication/devotion 🥰
Practice Notes: A lot of times people chant OM while practicing Avahana Mudra. Hold for 5-40 minutes, 2-3 times daily.

Unwind with Shoelace pose 👟. Used to externally rotate the hips, stretch the inner thighs and groin and, if you're folding forward, decompress the lower spine.

Surf the Warrior Wave! 🌊 Channel your inner power with Warrior II. Draw more power from this pose by turning the palms and elbow creases up to the sky and draw the shoulder blades down. Inhale, bend the elbow and bring the palms toward you. Exhale, push them away and straighten the arms.

Unlike a power flow class, Restorative Yoga does not seek to find the deepest sensation, but rather no sensation at all. It enhances our healing capacity by helping us regulate the stress response and re-balance the nervous system.
