Boar's Den Sword Con

Not naming names anymore, but we have some exciting guests who are expressing intrest in attending!

Still working on getting in contact with representatives of various sword arts. Working hard behind the scenes.

Just brought in the one and only Steaphen Fick as a co-organizer for this event. We are getting serious now!

David Baker of Forged in Fire fame (but has been one of the biggest names in weapons making for many years) has expressed interest in attending Boar's Den Sword Con!

This really is exciting!

In addition to my members of Iron Gate Martial Arts, we have secured Matt Smith (Owner of Pacific Martial Arts, and my first sword instructor) and Randy George (Pacific Martial Art's Japanese Sword Instructor) to help organize! Makes me very excited!

Just secured Da'Mon Stith, A founder of Historical African Martial Arts!

I'm assuming the Kopesh (Egyptian Sword) will be one of the main weapons he will display.

This is going to be great!

This event will not be just about sword fighting, but swords in general.

I am hoping to get somebody like Angus Trim to come and do a lecture on how swords are made, sword dynamics etc.

Would also love to find a Japanese swordsmith to do the same.

Perhaps even a sword fight director for hollywood.

We intend to have this Sword Con next year in Fresno, Ca.

Too big of an undertaking to organize it for this year. And do not want to conflict with other events.

This will be exciting folks!

Just got a connection to Korean Sword Arts! Didn't even know it existed...this is what this is all about!

If it is a successful event and has a huge attendance, perhaps we can look at moving Sword Con to Vegas. But...baby steps.

I am looking to have Brad Lynn create a logo for the Boar's Den Sword Con. So please be patient! lol
