Hello Lions League Families,

As some of you know and the rest will learn, Lions Little League Baseball is currently forming a new board of directors. As things are changing we would like to thank Anthony and Stephanie for many years of dedication to Lions Baseball and the local community. You will truly be missed and we all wish you both the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Many have questions about when sign ups will begin for the 2022 season. We are currently working on updating our website so that sign ups can begin asap. We will release a formal announcement here on Facebook this weekend with more details.

This Thursday at 6:45pm June 17th the Career Trophies for last year and this year will be passed out. The Ceremony will start at 6:45pm sharp as Championship games are to follow.

We would like to say Thank You to Coach K (Keoni) for stepping up and taking on the difficult role of running Lions this year. We know how hard it is and appreciate all your hard work so they kids had somewhere to play. Also we would like to Thank all the Coaches for taking teams this season. Most of you didn’t even have children playing.

Tball and Rookie trophies will be given to the coaches. COACHES may drop your equipment off and pick up your trophies then.

We are also in need of two Rookie Coaches for the 7-8 age group. Teams are already put together, however we can add your child.

We are unable to get enough commitment to have the tournament for last year. At this point we have 4 Major teams. If your child was due to receive a trophy last year and would like to play this season we will allow them to register and play this season. We were able to secure a donation for 10 spots for the 13 year olds. Uniforms will be ordered Monday and we will not be able to add anyone late. If your child was due to recieve a Career Trophy last season and you would like one of the 10 spots from the donation please send a private message.

We had a bigger turn out for Rookies and Tball than expected. Would anyone like to coach at either of those levels. Must be able to pass a background check.
Minors and Majors sign ups are still open. There is a few spots left.

For anyone who is signed up you will be placed on a team and will be receiving a phone call within a week. We have had to make a few changes, so please be patient.

Reminder Sunday 4/ 18 will be the last day for sign ups . Due to most players that have already signed up being returning players in the Minors and Majors we will not hold a tryout. We are also going to allow the few that signed up that needed to go to tryouts be able to pick a team as long as there is space on that team, this will expedite the process of getting the uniforms ordered.
