¡Atención familias!

MAÑANA tenemos un taller virtual a las 6 PM para apoyar con recursos a estudiantes de preparatoria y colegio en su éxito ya sea en la búsqueda de recursos como estudiante o búsqueda de empleo. Si su hijo está interesado en participar envíenos un mensaje. El taller será bilingüe así que los padres pueden acompañar a su estudiante si así lo desean.

Being a community leader isn't what many people think. Becoming one means facing social struggles and healing the wounds inflicted along the way; it means holding your head high and moving forward with a steady step, no matter the challenge; it means working long hours without reward let alone recognition. It also means crying alone in a closet, disappointed by those who claim to support you in public but privately seek only to block your path and squeeze out every possible financial advantage. But I don’t give up; I dare to heal and keep moving forward. I do it all for a big dream burning in my heart for better communities where children and young people have the opportunities and the healing that most of us never had. Let me just say this: I am here, and I’m not going anywhere. This game isn't over until your children and mine win!
