Sue Sampson-Dalena Owner/Artistic Director of the Dance Studio of Fresno, had a vision to reach young people all over the City of Fresno over 30 years ago. She dreamed of teaching the art of dance and the value of it. Her vision sparked an explosion that erupted the moment The Dance Studio opened its doors. Her efforts took The Dance Studio national, competing and guest performing in major dance venues all over the Country. Through the years, The Dance Studio of Fresno has attracted thousands of dancers from throughout the State of California and especially from the Central Valley. Students have enjoyed the opportunity to learn directly from Sue and to experience dance on another level. The instruction, patience, and discipline have paid off for everyone, as Sue led a team of dancers, administrators, and instructors to the brand new, state of the art Dance Studio in 2001. The 12,000 square foot facility includes seven separate classrooms with parent viewing areas, a snack bar, and dressing rooms. Sue employs a team of 25 teachers and staff, has an enrollment of approximately 1000 students, and conducts over 120 classes each week (plus additional private lessons and team rehearsals).

Because legends don’t just teach the steps… they change lives too. Behind every athlete, dancer, and artist is a coach who believed in them first! 💜

A great coach sees your potential—even when you can’t see it yourself. They push you further, challenge you to grow, celebrate your wins, and remind you what you’re capable of when you forget.

Today, we’re giving a HUGE thank you to our incredible studio teachers who pour their hearts into our dancers every single day. Your impact goes far beyond the studio. ✨

Just a quick Saturday at the studio…..

Full outs, “one more time,” cleaning the same 8 count for way too long, snacks in between, and lots of energy! We wouldn’t have it any other way though 💜
