First weekend of matches for our MLS NEXT Academy Division teams & Texas Academy League teams.

Some tough lessons learned for our MLS Next Academy teams against the very talented & hard working Ozarks United squads. We look to bounce back at the weekend against Dallas Surf & Texas Lightning for GW two matchups 😤

TAL teams hit the ground running in the Hornets Derby on opening day & against Texas Lightning for our first away trip of the season. Hornets DFW & East share the points in three wins for each side out of six matches. While DFW takes home 10 points out of a possible 18. Well done Hornets! Time to prepare for GW two matchups at home against Dallas Surf & Little Rock Rangers 💪

Dallas Hornets had the honor of being invited to the FIFA World Cup test run of Dallas Stadium, in preparations for the first match between The Netherlands and Japan. This experience allowed our MLS Next Homegrown groups to play a match on a World Cup field, and go through match day procedures to prep for the biggest event in the sport. A humbling and amazing opportunity that our club is extremely thankful to have been a part of!
