If you want to get better, then work on what counts! Short game, short game and more short game. Practicing with a purpose and specific goals is important.
The quest to get better, NEVER ENDS!

Success is incremental. Working on the right things, the right amount, with the correct amount of augmented feedback, and PATIENCE is key.
The score is conformation that I’m on the right path with the changes.
More work forthcoming, to own it! More mental and physical practice is in my immediate future! Gotta love the grind!!! -

The rent was due today, and I love to practice. Practice is more effective when you have a practice plan! -

What an amazing experience! Having the reigning Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson, Vice Captain Stuart Cink, with legends, Lee Trevino, and Lanny Wadkins in attendance.
The announcement of the Captain’s pick was electric! I’m excited with the possibility of this team getting the job done, across the pond.

I truly miss “digging it out of the dirt”. The quest of bettering myself NEVER ENDS! The rent of success is due everyday. Enjoy the journey!

There a times in our lives, that you can change a persons life trajectory. This was one of those moments. Working with young people has and will always be my passion / mission, but being a part of this event took it to a whole new dimension.
Seeing young people who have a genuine interest in bettering themselves, and willing not “to left out of the conversation “ as it relates to golf, has given me more drive to be the “lighthouse” and “The Bridge Builder”.
I want to guide, inspire, and mentor those who want to learn how to play golf, even more now!
Thank you PGA Works and The 100 Black Men of New York for the opportunity!

This is the first of three major posts. I had the tremendous opportunity of working with the Nancy Lieberman basketball camp, exposing young people to the option of golf.
Yes, there’s Jay Harris from ESPN! What a great guy sharing his time with the kids.

The concept of this post, is creating a legacy… 15 years ago at Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club, I gave this young man, Adam Creed, golf instruction, so he could play on his high school team. Now, he’s an Associate, aspiring to be a PGA professional! Another legacy being created!
