OutKast Wrestling Inc OutKast Wrestling Inc is a year-round youth wrestling and training program Wrestling is not just a sport, it truly is a way of life.

OutKast Wrestling Club is a year-round youth wrestling and training program targeted at the Northern Shenandoah Valley, including Front Royal, Wi******er, Stephens City and Strasburg. Our focus is to teach area youth the fundamentals of wrestling and to provide an avenue for them to develop their skills while also providing them competitive opportunities at local, state and national levels. While wrestling is an individual sport, it is built upon the foundation of a team of athletes who join together to push each other toward the goal of improvement. It teaches children that even though this sport is driven on individual goals those goals cannot be met without the help from good partners and a good support system, both in and out of the room. We strive to teach young men and women that if you want things in life you have to work hard to achieve them. Building confidence through athletics, learning to help others, developing a sense of public service, and building lifetime bonds with peers is our goal. We have an experienced coaching staff who have coached local youth wrestlers for the past 7 years and have over 34 years of involvement in youth and high school wrestling. Also on the staff are national youth team coaches and a state team coordinator for the elementary school and middle school age groups.

Exciting news for youth wrestling in our community! As most of you are aware, OutKast Wrestling Inc board members have been in talks with Front Royal Raptors for the last several months about combining and forming one youth wrestling club in Warren County/Front Royal. Moving forward there will be one organization. The new name will be “Front Royal Wrestling Club”

The first practice will be November 1st at 6:30p to 8p at Skyline Middle School, 240 Luray Avenue. There will also be a parents meeting at that time while the kids practice.

We are excited about the future of youth wrestling in our community. As you all know, wrestling is a big family. Well our family just got bigger and became one.

Thank you all for the support you have shown OutKast Wrestling over the years. Now we can focus on our new team, Front Royal Wrestling Club!

We sent 7 wrestlers to the Mason Dixon Youth Wrestling Championship this weekend at Top of The Podium. All 7 placed in the top 8 and we had two champions! So proud of these kids and their hard work, especially during this difficult and crazy year we’ve had!

Good luck to all the area wrestlers competing at the VAWA State tournament today and tomorrow.

This morning, Drake DeFrates and Brently Grindle are competing. This afternoon, Dj Mabie is competing.

Tomorrow morning, Jesse Caputo and Weslee Grindle compete and the afternoon session, Gavin Hetrick competes.

Will update throughout the tournament.
