That’s right another year of Trunk or Treat!!

The Frostburg Halloween Parade is back!

This year's parade is scheduled for 6pm, Thursday, Oct 29th!

All organizations and businesses are welcome to participate in the parade. The registration deadline is Monday, October 26th at 3pm. To register, just click on the following link.

We'll also be hosting a Halloween Party at City Place (14 S Water St) and Frostburg State University Athletics will be hosting a Trunk or Treat right across the street in the Armstrong Insurance Garage. Both are for children 12 & under accompanied by an adult and will take place immediately after the parade.

This event is sponsored by City of Frostburg Parks & Recreation Dept in conjunction with FSU Recreation & Sports Mgmt and FSU Athletics.

Frostburg State University has entered into a five-year Official Banking Partner Agreement with the State Employees Credit Union of Maryland (SECU), creating new opportunities to support student success and enhance campus programs.

Under the agreement, SECU will provide the University with $600,000 over five years, along with additional support for each new SECU member connected to the University community.

80% of the annual funds received through the agreement will support Frostburg State Athletics, helping to fund renovations to the University's softball field. The remaining 20% will support student-focused initiatives across campus, including orientation programs, student events, the Career and Professional Development Center and PAWS Pantry.

As Frostburg State's Official Banking Partner, SECU will engage with the University community through marketing activities and by supporting programs and initiatives that enrich the student experience.

“For more than a century, Frostburg State University has created pathways to opportunity for students while helping strengthen the region we serve,” said FSU President Dr. Shadow JQ Robinson. “Partnerships like this enable us to further invest in student success and enhance the campus experience. We are grateful for SECU’s partnership and shared commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders for Maryland and Appalachia.”
