As a U.S. Army veteran, SNHU student Nicholas knows his path from service to education doesn’t always follow a predictable timeline.
Before enrolling at SNHU, Nicholas and his brother set aside their 2004 Olympic pursuits to serve in Iraq as U.S. Army Infantry soldiers. The experience inspired him to dedicate his career to helping veterans navigate life after military service and rediscover a sense of purpose.
By the time Nicholas was ready to ready to pursue his degree, his GI Bill education benefits had expired. He chose to pursue his education at SNHU to gain the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen his life’s work and expand its impact. Thanks to the generosity of donors, scholarships have made it possible for Nicholas to work toward a future rooted in service and leadership.
