This summer, step into the Nutcracker in July! This workshop is designed to prepare dancers for Nouveau Chamber Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker.” Students will learn choreography that will be taught at auditions.

Step into the world of storytelling through movement with Tom Bozigian’s Folk & Character Masterclass at Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio on June 20th from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm.

Character dance builds versatile performers by developing expressive storytelling, complex musicality, and strong partnering skills. Based on stylized European and Middle Eastern folk traditions, this foundational training brings authenticity to classical ballets like Swan Lake and Don Quixote

Join us this summer for four days of ballet training and fun at our Summer Ballet Intensive for dancers ages 7 - 12.

July 27th - 30th
1:00 pm - 3:15 pm
$125 for all 4 days

Each day includes:

A ballet technique class

Ballet-related enrichment activities, such as ballet history and bun-making tutorials, and more!

A second class focused on either strength training, artistry, flexibility, or choreography

This intensive is designed to help dancers strengthen their technique, build confidence, and explore different aspects of ballet in a supportive and engaging environment.

This is the perfect way to help your dancer take the next step in their ballet journey. This program offers a well-rounded experience that combines education, movement, and creativity.

We encourage families to register early to reserve their spot. We need a minimum of 8 dancers signed up to do this program!
