“Salt Lake City Pan American Series 🇺🇸 was the most physically intense competition I’ve done since the Pan Am Games in 2023.

It was a blast competing in both bouldering and lead. It pushed me to my limit and forced me to hone in on all the comp strategies I’ve developed over the years. Making bouldering finals was awesome, but it also lined me up for 4 straight days of competition with no rest — and the 40°C heat absolutely cooked me for lead 🥵 Next time, let’s convince the organizers to put lead first 😂
I’m still disappointed with my performance in lead semis. I wish I could have shown what I know I’m capable of.
That said, considering this was the final comp of two months of travelling on the World Cup circuit, I’m satisfied and proud of my climbing, recovery tactics, attitude, and drive to kill every climb.

“Chamonix lead World Cup bla bla

My preparation for Chamonix World Cup was near perfect, thx to the Italian fam. The pink qualis route reminded me what I am capable of. I stuck to my plan. I felt focused, determined and relaxed. A slight surprise of how good I felt made me loose focus and I fumbled the crimp with 2 fingers. But still solid! I had everything lined up to do potentially squeeze into semis if I climbed well on my second route. I stuck to my plan but ended up being a bad plan.
This game is so fun because there is so much strategy involved, like who you watch, which beta you decide and how you are able to adapt on the wall etc.

After the comp I got to spent some quality mountain time with the pops. Mega 15 hour day. Voie des Suisses - Grand Cap. A great first taste of this alpine sh*t.”
