Weekend update:
Thursday at Can-Am we were running 5th the yoke on the back of the transmission cracked and caused a vibration. So we pulled in the infield. Upon investigation in the pits we found the cracked yoke and the bellhousing had also cracked along a repaired weld from vibration.
Friday Mike would work all day and get the car fixed and ready. Next up would be an issue with the transmission as it would get stuck in reverse. Get that issue resolved and head out for the heat. Head out and take the green only for the new u-joint at the rearend to leave the chat and take put everything in its path. So back to work Mike went. He'd replace the torque arms, drive shaft, and driveshaft safety hoops. It was a long friday.
Saturday with 🤞Mike would time 3rd, finish 3rd in the heat and start 9th in the feature and finish a solid 5th. After the weekend we had just finishing was good. We gotta thank everyone who lent a hand, parts, or just checked in. Thank you Zachary Eckert, the entire Jeremy Smith Racing team, Lance and Raechelle Willix, and anyone else we missed. It takes an army. Time to get things washed up and regroup for next week. Also last day to pre order shirts, post is pinned to the top of the page.
