At Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club, we do not believe money should stand in the way of belonging.
We chose to build this program differently because we believe every girl deserves access to confidence, community, movement, and joy — regardless of what her family can pay.
This is about more than cheer and dance.
It is about rebuilding villages.
It is about creating positive spaces for girls.
It is about making sure belonging stays accessible.
That is why our club is community-supported, sponsor-friendly, and always free to join.
We’re building more than skills here — we’re building belonging, confidence, and community. 💙📣

Our club is in full swing!
Sessions 2 and 3 at Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club were all about confidence and teamwork. 💙
During Session 2, the girls made bracelets and we ended a little early because of the heat.
In Session 3, we worked in partners to create pom poms and talked about what each of us needs on our team for it to work. We practiced our cheer motions, played freeze dance, and the girls showed how strong they were— then proved it by lifting Coach A off the ground. 💪🏾
Friendships are forming, confidence is growing, and we are already getting ready for our end-of-session presentation.
Session 4 is tomorrow, and we are so excited to keep building this positive space for our girls.
We’re building more than skills here — we’re building belonging, confidence, and community.

Due to the heat, Blue Jays will have an early ending tonight, April 16, at 6:45 PM. The girls will still have time for circle, a craft, and dance together.
Please send your child with a water bottle and have her use the bathroom before arriving.
Thank you, families, for a beautiful first session. We are excited for another fun evening together. ☀️✨

Today was our inaugural session, and we had an amazing first day at Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club. 💙
We wanted to lead with belonging, so our opening circle was filled with greetings, sharing, and activities — including surprise Shrinky D***s — before we moved into stretching, learning basic cheer motions, and dancing our wiggles out.
The girls also learned the importance of cheer pins, and each girl had the chance to pin another before we closed out our time together. The little whispers of “Will you be my friend?” have already started, and I feel incredibly grateful to help create this space.
Thanks to a generous sponsor, we are already planning our next surprises for the girls.
Coach C and Coach Addy are just as exhausted as the girls, and we are already heading to bed. 🤍
We are so grateful to the families who have already trusted us to help build a positive, encouraging space in their daughters’ lives.
If you would still like to join this session, it is always free. Registration will remain open until Monday, 4/20, and then we will begin preparing for our end-of-session presentation.

At The Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club, we believe belonging matters.
While we absolutely focus on cheer and dance skills, our foundation is deeper than technique alone.
We are intentionally creating a space where girls feel seen, included, encouraged, and connected.
Because when girls know they belong, they show up differently.
They grow differently.
They shine differently.
That is the Blue Jays difference.
WHY I STARTED THIS CLUB 💙
I started Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club because I believe girls need spaces where they can grow in both confidence and community.
They need places where they can move, express themselves, be encouraged, be recognized, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
This club is about cheer and dance — but it is also about belonging.
We’re beginning with a free introductory session because I want this to be an accessible starting point for families while we build something beautiful together.
This is only the beginning, and I’m grateful to everyone supporting the vision early.
WHAT FAMILIES CAN EXPECT 💙
Families can expect Blue Jays Cheer & Dance Club to be:
✔️ welcoming
✔️ structured
✔️ encouraging
✔️ community-centered
✔️ fun
Our goal is for the girls to learn in an environment that supports both skill-building and confidence-building.

- Please send your child with a water bottle
- Please send a towel to sit on
- Our opening circle begins promptly
- One session will include a professional photographer taking pictures
- There will also be volunteer opportunities for families who want to help support the club
