4 competitors at last weekend’s PKB and all 4 brought home some wins! 3 first place finishes 🏆 and one 2nd place 🥈 All of these athletes have worked hard in the gym leading up to the competition thanks to the help and push from their coaches and teammates. Great job everyone!

Sarah and Philippe brought back 2 gold medals 🥇🥇 from Pans this year. The whole team contributed to their success and we couldn’t be more proud of their ex*****on in competition. Win or lose, everyone puts in the work, and we can’t wait to see more and more students victorious.

Over 80 people on the mats yesterday for the Cam Hurd seminar and Sunday Service training. It’s always great to see the Jiu Jitsu community come together and support each other with plenty of cross training. The vendor fair was a great turn out as well. This Saturday Casey fights for Lightning Strikes at the Durham Armory. He has put in an insane amount of work this fight camp and we are all ready to watch him put on a show.

Sunday, November 23rd at 1:30 pm Schell Shock BJJ will be hosting a 90 min self defense class. Open to all ladies but we suggest girls ages 9 and up for hands on participation. Led by former professional MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Samantha Schell. We brought 14 kids and 1 adult to the Raleigh Competition last weekend and walked away with 2nd best kids team, 2nd best association, and 2nd best academy. Lots of medals and lots of subs. We also had 6 students in the top 20 fastest sub (and I believe one is actually missing). Great job to all who competed, and thank you to everyone at the gym who played an integral part helping them prepare, our instructor staff that dedicates their time to our students growth, and the coaches who took time from their day on Saturday to help coach. It definitely makes an impact
