Tim “Dr Hook” McCracken was the Captain of the Syracuse Bulldogs in the movie ‘Slap Shot’. Paul D'Amato, who played “Dr. Hook” McCracken, passed away recently from progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare brain disease.
