Exercise is important for maintaining strong bones, but strength training has been shown to have a greater impact on bone density than other forms of exercise. Fall prevention exercises have proven to reduce the risk of falls, which in turn reduces the risk of fractures. This 6 week program will introduce participants to the specific type of strength training necessary to build strong bones, as well as provide balance training to help prevent falls. Lyrical Jazz Workshop - starts 1/9 for 6 weeks in New Hope.
This graceful jazz style places an emphasis on fluid, lyrical movement. It incorporates both Jazz and Ballet technique and encourages dancers to express the emotional content of the music used for the choreography. Some ballet or dance experience helpful, but nor required. All are welcome!

We can't emphasize enough the value of this training. It's worth it to be prepared for an emergency. American Red Cross CPR training classes give you the information and the skills you need to help adults, children and infants during breathing and cardiac emergencies. Also covered are basic first aid, choking, and AED use. Feel more comfortable in various situations by becoming CPR/First Aid trained.
