For anyone who’s wanting to work out but have joint issues or is a beginner and those over 50, I have a less aggressive strength training class that focuses on mobility and fall prevention. It’s called Silver Flex and it is being offered at Woodward Park this summer. It’s $30 for 9 weeks. Also offering Zumba Gold classes for $30 as well. Info is below.

Because of injuries, degenerative discs and just my overall well being, mind and body connection is of the utmost importance. I engage in stretching and mobility warm ups daily whether I weight train or not. This pre-workout not only helps me to physically and mentally feel better but allows me to really zone in once I start my strength training for more intentional movement. What are your routines to increase mind and body connection?

My current goals are to be able to a full leg workout with heavy weight again. I’m finally back to doing everything without any weight. That’s major for me and I’m excited to get back to where I was and to move forward. The second goal is to do an unassisted pull-up. What are your goals?
