Dancing in the Moonlight 🌕

Join us September 19 for an evening celebrating the artistry, dedication, and hard work of our company dancers throughout their summer intensive.

🍸 Reception | 5:00–6:30 PM
Join us beforehand for a reception in the North Georgia History Center Garden. Small bites, beer and wine, and time to mingle with fellow ballet supporters before the performance.

🌕 Performance | 7:00 PM
Featuring original works choreographed by Jocelyn Buchanan, Charlotte DeLong, AbiGrace DiPrima, Marina Eglevsky, Courtney Locke, Paulo de Manso Sousa, and Cammi Nevarez, along with special guest performers from the Brenau University Dance Department, Perimeter Ballet, and Southern Arc Dance.

Nutcracker picture night! We had so much fun in the studio Thursday taking pictures of our beautiful dancers.

Mark your calendars for Gainesville Ballet Company’s The Nutcracker Nov. 20-22 in Pearce Auditorium at Brenau University.

Gainesville Ballet Company will be hosting auditions for dancers ages 6-7 on August 29, at 11:30am to be considered to perform as a Gumdrop in our 2026 Nutcracker.

Intermediate 1 camp is for 2nd graders and all upcoming intermediate 1 dancers. The camp is from June 22nd to 26th and is $150.00.

*You do not need to be a current dancer with GBC to participate in this camp*

Spend the week with us, and you will become a dancer! This camp is a lot of fun!

Join us for Princess Camp! This camp is so fun for our littlest dancers. We hope to see you there!

You do not have to be a GBC dancer to attend!

Camp is June 8th-12th
3-4 year olds: 9-10:30 ($125.00)
5-6 year olds: 10:30-12:30 ($150.00)

🩷SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🩷

Our final senior we want to highlight is Samantha Griffin! Samatha plans to attend Anderson University in the fall as a dance major! She has been dancing for 15 years. Her favorite memory with GBC would be theatre week! She said she loves just laughing with her friends in the dressing room as well as helping all the girls with their makeup specifically eyeliner! Samantha’s favorite role she has danced would be the Sugar Plum Fairy. She was also the Fairy Godmother in our recent production of Cinderella.

Samantha we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see where this next chapter of life takes you! 🩷🎉🩰

Musical Theater Camp is June 22nd-26th: All Intermediate levels can attend (2nd-4th grade) Such a fun camp!
1-4PM

Any Intermediates who take the Intermediate 1 camp or Nutcracker camp and decide to stay to take the Musical Theatre Camp will have 30 minutes for lunch in between camps!

Today we want to wish Mrs Jocelyn the happiest birthday!! 🥰💐🎉We are so lucky to have the best artistic director she is so dedicated to her students and we love her so dearly! Mrs Jocelyn we hope you have the best day ever!!

THATS A WRAP!!

We wrapped up Cinderella on Sunday and we are so thankful for our beautiful dancers and everyone who came and supported them! It was such a cute show and we’re so sad it’s over!! Thanks to everyone who made it possible! 🤗💐🩵🩰
