Are you really a gym owner if you go to workout and then spend most of that time rearranging the gym. Good news is: easier access to fan controls and oly plates and also way more room in the "cardio" area.
Private training hall with competition-standard powerlifting equipment. Veteran-owned, woman-owned

We are a private training hall. If you do not have a membership or a drop-in pass, or if you are not doing a trial session with a coach you cannot train yet. You have to sign a waiver first. If you are interested in membership you can sign up online or send the gym an email and we can meet up.

Our next beginner powerlifting class is Saturday, Sep 20th from 9-10:30.
came to us familiar with lifting, but new to the sport of competitive powerlifting and has already one meet under her belt and several PRs beyond what she lifted when she showed up. She took the intro class and has since taken off.
At the class we will take you through form cues on the squat, bench, and deadlift according to competition standard (we modify and adjust for each individual with guidance on how to improve). We cover rules of competition, programming specifics that are different for competitive powerlifters versus bodybuilders or gen fitness folks, and we review equipment.
Register online at our website under upcoming events.

I know it’s summer and it’s gross out, but please for the love of god, clean up your sweat off the equipment. We have bottles of cleaner and rags stashed around the gym for this. Clean up your chalk mess too. Thank you

For those who don’t know, we are partnered with the local organization that offers services for people fleeing domestic violence. They have an event on October 12th at Bo Diddley Plaza to spread awareness and provide support to the community. For our part, any new members who sign up at Gainesville Barbell from now till October 12th, your first month of dues will be donated to Peaceful Paths. Not only will you be getting stronger and more powerful, your doing so will aid in others’ ability to reclaim their power too. Thank you for your continued support, Gainesville.

We are a veteran-owned business. My husband and I met in the Marines. My brother is an Army combat veteran. One of our coaches is a Marine Corps veteran, the other’s an Army sniper vet. For local veterans looking to connect we do first Saturdays of each month free for you guys—you just have to send me an email for access.
A few of our powerhouse women threw down at the push-pull event . Well done, ! 💪💪💪

Hey-o! Announcement for members: we just got back from a week of traveling and have heard that some of you meatheads have gone off the rails to crazy town. Please share the stereo. If you don’t like what’s playing just talk to each other. Rerack the weights. It’s sweat season—make sure to wipe down the equipment well. If you are about to leave and there is only one person left, make sure that person is okay closing the garage doors and turning off the fan. Also, yelling is fine, even encouraged, but please no name calling.
I love that our gym is unlike any other in town—use it how you need it—but not at the expense of the others who share the same space.
Thanks for your support.
