Congratulations Dr. Chase Shook !

Dr. Shook is a former Pathway to Med School graduate. We are so proud to have him practicing in our region !!!

We're excited to be expanding primary care for the Dahlonega and Lumpkin County community! Dr. Chase Shook, a University of North Georgia graduate who went on to earn his medical degree from Mercer University, is now accepting new patients at NGPG Dahlonega.

We had a phenomenal group of high school students from various counties, all sharing a curiosity for health careers!

Join us in congratulating our 2026 Intensive Program Scholarship Winner Kaleb Van!! When asked what his plans are he said this “Hello my name is Kaleb Van, I’m a senior at Flowery Branch High School. I will be continuing my studies at Augusta University in the fall, majoring in clinical laboratory science on a pre-med track. I am very involved within my school whether it’s clubs or other extracurriculars. I’m also very passionate about the health care industry and medicine, being that I would like to be able to help people in the future. I am so blessed to receive this scholarship, thank you so much!”
