The University of Florida Equestrian Club (UFEC) was established in 1985 and is a member of the University of Florida Sports Clubs. The club is dedicated to promoting good horsemanship and sportsmanship. All members share a love of horses and do not have to show in order to be an active member. We participate in fundraisers, volunteer for the community, host horse shows at the university, and list

Yesterday some of our riders attended an awesome clinic with 5* Eventer Ashley Johnson! Our riders worked on their drssage skills, show jumping, and attended a seminar on building rider confidence. We can’t wait to see them bring these skills into the 2026-2027 show season! A huge thank you for coaching, and for our volunteers for helping out!

Congratulations to our hunt seat team! They hosted both the final hunt seat home show of the season as well as regionals! We have four hunt seat riders headed to zones, so make sure to cheer on Sydney Vargo, Ashley Burgess, Rylee Haugh, and Shae Helmer as they represent us in Georgia! Good luck riders!!🙌🐊🏆

Thank you to everyone who came out for our alumni event ! We watched the $125,000 grand prix, caught up, and ate some delicious pizza! We can’t wait to see everyone next year!
