Gainesville Brewery Run 5K

The NEW brewery run 5k is coming in Spring 2016 and will be even larger than last year's with more beer, more sponsors/vendors and more excitement! Did we say more beer already?

Shout out to local Swamp Head Brewery for being the first Florida brewery to be solar powered!!

Local brewery now first in state powered by sun Swamp Head Brewery is now using Florida’s sunshine to power its brand new brew house.

Just a reminder that if you gave us your email address on race day because you didn't register on-time via GroupOn/LivingSocial the shirts have been delivered and are waiting for you at First Magnitude!! Come in during normal taproom hours and give the beertender your name. They will have a list of requested names and shirt sizes behind counter. Any questions? Feel free to ask via email at [email protected]

Update: We know several of you were unable to make the event on Sunday or did not register in time to get a awesome t shirt.....so we are going to ensure everyone who registered and bought a ticket gets one. Please email your size and details to [email protected] before 5:00 pm on Thursday. Even if you gave a volunteer your info on race day, even if you've messaged us on Facebook-just make sure!! We will be posting official final Top 25 Male & Top 25 Female times later today as well as Brew Crew 1 Mile + Kids Fun Run times too.

First and foremost, thank you to all runners who came out on a gorgeous day for the race on Sunday to have some fun and support the Springs Eternal Project. From the emails and talks we have had with participants and sponsors it appears the run was a huge success! If anyone has any feedback- good or bad, please email us at [email protected] or please send us a Facebook message.

If you didn't get your right t shirt size, didn't get a shirt cause of not registering on time, didn't get your medal or think you won a boot- please email us so we can get to everyone individually.

After we assess everything in the next week, we will likely have a pickup day announced for shirts, boots, medals etc. Also, we hope to at least have a handle on what time of year
/month the next event will be- and we will surely let you all know it as well.

** Also, the final details info email you all have been waiting for will be going out at 4:30 pm today after our committee meeting and will be in your inboxes before this evening. Whether you pre-registered or registered in store you will get this email.**

We had planned to send two such emails but have delayed because there were a large number of people who failed to register properly before this weekend. Most races do not make exceptions-but we decided to.

Just a reminder for all of you pre-registered runners...unfortunately we had a large contingent who didn't register by the deadline-therefore we decided to wait until tonight to send the final info email for all racers. Sorry for any confusion or people waiting on an email last night. If you have time, we hope to see you today until 7:00 pm at Gainesville Running & Walking, 3600 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL, 32608 to pick up packets. There will be a big crowd on race day. Avoid the lines!!!
