I’ve always been blessed with the gift of bragging, but like some strange curse from an Ancient Greek deity, it only applies when I brag about others.

Lucky for you, that means I write killer resumes and cover letters.

Because I use a collaborative process where I rewrite and edit live over Google Meet with clients, the results really sing. Take Dan Armelli for example.

This summer, he was struggling to get callbacks on any of his applications. He saw results within two weeks of his makeover.

Not only do you walk away with written materials that get noticed, you feel like a total badass afterward. Leah Arceneaux can tell you all about that.

If you know your materials aren’t getting the attention they deserve, take advantage of this Cyber Monday deal.

Today ONLY, I’m discounting my resume and cover letter revamping services by 75%.

Details in my b!o or drop a 💪🏼 for more info.

Call me delusional, but I think we need gratitude and grace this month now more than ever.

Taking a moment to reflect, here’s what’s on my list:

🎉I’ve found a solid foundation of mental and physical health after a long bout of depression.

🎉I reconnected with my love of theater and got cast in a local play, where I’ve made incredible friends and had more fun than I have in years.

🎉A strong support system—including my partner, siblings, and friends—who have all shown up for me in my low points this month.

🎉And you, the person reading this email right now.

In all honesty, I know that no matter how infrequent my emails are or how long I ghost my social media accounts, that I always have a reader who cares enough to click open and hear about what’s new with me.

On my most insecure, shadowy days, that thought alone keeps me going. So, thank you. You will never know how much I appreciate you.

Back in January, I told everyone my word for the year was “accessible” and that I wanted to create more opportunities for people to work with me no matter where they were on their journeys.

Well, why not use a holiday based on gratitude (at least theoretically) as a reason to show my appreciation?

In my b!o are a few offers to help anyone, no matter whether you’re looking for a new job, getting ready to start a business, desperately trying to hang onto your employees, or craving a little guidance.

Use the code THANKS for 75% off all the offerings!

I love that at 37, I am still learning new things about myself. This month, I learned I LOVE classic horror movies!

Thanks to the “Horror 101” category on I’ve been binge watching movies this month.

I missed all of them being a scaredy cat for most of my life.

What I’m realizing is to love horror movies is to (a) love villains and (b) love process. Let me explain:

You don’t usually get a happy ending in horror movies.

They usually end with everyone dead, people surviving but probably dying in the near future, people surviving but fu***ng traumatized, or a cliffhanger.

Whether you think the movie was good normally depends on the villains.

👻 Are they scary?

👻 Are they interesting?

👻 Are they memorable?

Miss one of those and you probably won’t like the movie in question.

And those are so subjective, that everyone is bound to have a different opinion.

I don’t like slasher movies bc I don’t find the villains interesting. They just wanna slash? BORING.

In that way, villains show us how to succeed in business, career, and life.

We’re more likely to find clients and jobs when we are scary good at something, interesting, and memorable.

And bc these endings are usually depressing AF, you gotta love the *process* of the movie.

It’s not about the ending—two people winding up together, a mystery getting solved, winning the big game, overcoming the obstacle, etc.

Instead, you enjoy it for the spook, scares, and eerie feelings you get along the way.

That’s the other lesson for success:

If everything you do is geared toward the payoff at the end like a paycheck or achievement, work will always feel like a slog.

The truth is that you need to live for the work itself.

The process is what brings the happiness, not the payout.

And the lessons for what you need to incorporate can be found in your favorite villains, the villains you love to the, and the emotions of fear and hatred themselves.

All of it carries wisdom that can help us find the balance we need to connect with joy, money, and abundance.

Anyway, here are the classics I’ve watched this month:

Night of the Living Dead ✅
The Omen (1976) ✅
Rosemary’s Baby ✅

I’m entering my villain era—by which I mean I’m leaning into “selfish bitch” energy and only doing what I feel like doing.

Here’s the truth: I talk a big game, but I’m a people-pleasing, validation-seeking, rule-following goody-two-shoes.

And it’s been ruining my life!

Everything I‘be done the past year or so has been in pursuit of what a "good" business owner would or should do.

I was so hung up on achieving my next milestone and proving to the world that I was worthy that I lost sight of what brought me joy.

Because on some level, it felt hedonistic to only pursue what felt fun.

So, I asked myself: What would I do if I were a bad business owner? A bad adult? A bad girl?

For me, that looked like:

😈Giving up on my pursuit of fame,

😈Starting a job hunt,

😈Turning my business into a side hustle,

😈Posting inconsistently or not at all,

😈Going backward to an old business model,

😈Saying no to always helping my friends and family,

😈Putting myself first, and

😈Only doing what felt fun in my spare time.

The second I gave myself permission to give up the need to achieve, the pressure lifted from my shoulders.

Days later, I landed a job interview and signed a 1:1 client I’ve been manifesting for years—a fashion designer!

Yet I’m still moving ahead with my plans to find a remote job I love. I’m sick of the pressure that comes with running a business.

I would rather spend my energy hosting fun, affordable workshops that aren’t part of strategic coaching funnels.

I no longer give a f**k if my audience never buys my high ticket offer.

I want to teach.
I want to connect.
I want to lead.

So, that’s what I’m doing.

And the first one is happening this month: Original Story.

It’s all about what our favorite villains have to teach us and how we can lean into their energy to bring more balance into our lives.

And it comes with a Goddess Power Reading AND a spell circle on Halloween!

This is a chance for me to connect with my audience and followers again, so there’s no long sales pitch to sit through either. I’m sick of those, too.

If you’re ready to lean into your bad girl energy, drop your favorite Halloween gif or emoji in the comments or straight to my DMs.

It’s time to let your inner villain lead 🦹🏼‍♀️

Get 👏🏼 your 👏🏼 bloodwork 👏🏼 done 👏🏼
Months ago, my hair started falling out and it forced me to look at other problems that had slowly been getting worse over the course of a year.

Here’s what I was dealing with:

🚫 Hair loss,
🚫 Fatigue,
🚫 Depression, &
🚫 Occasional numbness in my legs and boiling hot feet.

I thought it was a thyroid problem.

I got tested and learned it was a combo of:

❗️Pre-diabetes
❗️High cholesterol
❗️Low vitamin D
❗️Low vitamin C
❗️Low iron

I have a bc family history of diabetes and heart disease, so I immediately listened to my doctor and made some temporary and permanent changes.

Per the doctor’s orders, I’ve temporarily cut out any and all breads, starches, and sugar.

I haven’t had a slice of toast, rice, POTATOES, or juice July. It sucks—but it’s not forever.

I’ve been taking TEN supplements a day. Hopefully this isn’t forever.

And this week, I finally started running again now that it’s not hot enough to give me heat stroke.

I love running so that one is permanent.

I also restarted therapy, learned to keep my house clean, and started volunteering in my community theater.

I finally feel better.

It’s been a lot of change over the past few months and it hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned it’s necessary.

For me to feel happy, I need to sing, take care of my body, connect with people, clean my house, and get professional help from someone who can call me on my bu****it.

But I wouldn’t have gotten here if I wasn’t brave enough to admit something was wrong and commit myself to finding answers.

If you haven’t gotten your blood work done in a while and/or you’re feeling off, go make an appointment.

Stop gaslighting yourself into thinking you’re making a big deal from nothing or that you need to do more journaling to feel better.

Get a check up. Get your blood tested. Don’t wait for your hair to fall out.

It’s possible that what feels mental or spiritual could have a physical component attached to it.

Anyway, I’m hoping to show up a little more often and share more about what’s going on in my life, so stay tuned.

PS I’m doing a Halloween workshop this month! Check the comments for deets!

I’ve never heard anyone in manifestation EVER talk about the Money Manifestation Wave phenomenon.

After years of shaming myself for being in this place, I dared to ask the question no other manifestation guru dared ask before:

What if this were a totally normal part of the process?

If it was totally normal… that would explain why almost every money manifester I ever met experienced a period of inconsistent results.

There was no way so many people would be experiencing this by accident.

So, I asked myself another question:

What if this wasn’t just a normal step, but a *necessary* step in the process?

Well, if it’s necessary, then it must be designed to teach an incredibly important lesson.

I evaluated what I had in common with everyone who experienced a similar wave—clients, friends, people online, etc—and what I learned blew my mind.

Everyone had experienced some form of financial trauma.

For some, it was big: homelessness, food insecurity, or other tremendous loss.

For some, it was smaller: parents who lived paycheck-to-paycheck, being the only kid at school without the latest toys, or, on the other end, hearing that people would try to use you for your money.

The list went on.

And what does everyone who has lived through some kind of financial trauma have in common?

They’re afraid of money.

Afraid they’ll lose it.
Afraid they’ll waste it.
Afraid it will go away just as quickly as it arrived.

So, if money is continuously showing up after you lose it, what is it teaching you?

That’s easy:

Trust.

Trust that money will always show up again.
Trust that you’re not bad at managing money.

You get the picture.

And the best way to feel trust is to find peace.

Plenty of people feel unsafe, unstable, and insecure even when they have millions of dollars.

(We wouldn’t have gossip magazines spilling the tea on celebrity divorces otherwise)

So, if you can cultivate a sense of peace that’s independent from income, your emotional regulation wouldn’t depend on how much money you’re able to manifest.

That sounds a lot like surrender and “releasing attachment to the result” to me.

That’s how I found the solution to breaking out of the money manifestation wave.

It’s a combination of not shaming yourself for living through it, cultivating a sense of security, and a spending plan that works for you.

If you want the free training, drop an emoji or slide into my DMs for more info! It’s free!
