Will be an exciting 2023 for the ZDGA!

Great new things are happening at the Zanesville District Golf Association this year. We have increased the amount of events we will hold, we have added a junior camp sponsored by Fuller’s Fairways Golf Course and players will now be able to qualify for our First Annual ZDGA - Varsity Title Cup in September.

Thanks to our sponsor Varsity Title, 16 area golfers will be invited to compete at Zanesville CC in an individual Stableford event on September 24, 2023 for $1500 in CASH prizes for our top three finishers. How do I qualify???

We will feature three events this season for players from Muskingum, Guernsey, Licking, Coshocton, Perry, Morgan and Noble counties. These three events will be our Two-Person Better Ball May 13th at Jaycees, our Amateur June 23 - 25th and one of our new events The ZDGA - Fullers Cup, July 22, at Fullers Fairways Golf Course.

The Fullers Cup will be a two person team tournament consisting of better ball, scramble and alternate shot. The AM will be a three day total, individual gross tourney with a cut after two days. The Better Ball tourney will be a two person team event. Watch for entries and information on each event soon at ZDGA.org.

To qualify for the ZDGA - Varsity Title Cup points will be awarded to the top ten finishers in each event. Then here is where the BONUS kicks in!! Your total points for those three events will be multiplied by the number of those three events you participate in and post a score in. So….the more events you play the better your chances of qualifying in the top 16!! Even if you only win points in one event but you play in all three - your points are tripled. Any ties to make the top 16 will first be broken by how many of the three specified events a player competed in. In the event of further ties a drawing will take place to finish filling the field of 16.

Congratulations to Marie Stufflebean (River View) and Bo Orecchio (John Glenn) for their fine play in yesterday’s Jr Invitational played at the beautiful Cambridge Country Club. They will both be continuing their post secondary education in the Fall and we are proud to present them each with a scholarship for their hard work and dedication as a local student athlete. Help us congratulate again both Marie and Bo for their accomplishments!

Exciting to see the official golf season kick off for the ZDGA; this is a great organization that does a lot for our local student athletes!

Our female winner was Ms Jewel Goins (Zanesville); our male recipient was Mr Derek Graham (Cambridge). These student athletes excel not only on the course but in their classroom and communities. Please help us congratulate these fine individuals as they continue their education at their chosen Universities.

2019 ZDGA schedule has been released....

Our female winner was Ms Kenzie Dietz (Waterford); our male winners were Mr Davey Wells (Barnesville) and Mr Trey Singleton (Meadowbrook). These student athletes excel not only on the course but in the classroom and communities as well, and we are honored to have them as scholarship recipients. Please help us congratulate these fine individuals as they continue their education at their chosen Universities.

Congratulations to all the local athletes who have qualified and will be competing in this weekend's state golf tournament, your hard work has paid off - now it's time to reap the benefits!...."PLAY WELL"

As proud title sponsor of the Wildfire Junior Golf Tournament we award a $500 scholarship to both the low male and female (recent graduate) golfers. We have been honored to be part of this event over the past 5 years and excited to announce that Jake Moore (Riverview) and Makyla Lewellen (Maysville) are the 2017 receipients after their stellar play yesterday in New Concord. Congratulations to not only Jake and Makyla but to all participants from yesterday's event!
