Galesburg Youth Athletic Club-GYAC

Galesburg Youth Athletic Club-GYAC GYAC is Olympic-Style amateur boxing. For ages 8+ where you are taught the basics of boxing and more, if you wish!! Our sessions are Mon, Wed, and Fri 5:30-7pm.

New member information and registrations are also available by appointment! Our mission consists of four main goals.

1) Coaches will teach the fundamentals of Olympic-Style boxing.

2) GYAC provides an athletic diversion to drug use, gangs and violence.

3) All coaches focus on enhancing self-esteem, goal-setting, discipline, self-respect, respect for others, and responsibility for ones own actions.

4) We also see it important that everybody learns how to deal with the out-of-ring combinations as well!

Starting at 5:30pm!
Popcorn and pizza and drinks will be provided.
