When I was growing up my grandma used to tell us stories about her childhood. One of the stories that really stuck out was the time she took the old plow horse to town and couldn't get the old draft to cross an old bridge. She'd say in a faraway voice "that old horse didn't want to cross the bridge so I pulled off my sweater and wrapped it around his eyes and led him across the bridge with no trouble." Or the time my brothers old horse Red decided to take her hat and some of her hair the time she was weeding a flower bed close to his fence. If I'd known horse drawn hearses were still available when she passed she would have had one if only so I could recall that she came from a different era.

We want to thank everyone for calling to schedule for this weekend but we have decide with all that is going on and that the beach might be closed the fireworks risk for the horses is too great for them to be in Crystal Beach this weekend. We will be on the phone with everyone who has prebooked and there will be 100% refunds. Thank you all for the concern for the horses we intend to keep them safe and happy.
