Bucket Brigade tours are back this summer at East Beach with Artist Boat!

These FREE beach tours share more about sargassum, turbid water, sand dunes, and the small animals that help make our coastal ecosystem work 🌊

Join Artist Boat and the Galveston Park Board of Trustees for FREE interpretive beach tours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at East Beach (1923 Boddeker Drive Galveston, TX 77550) now through Labor Day at 9am, 10am, 11am, and 12pm.

We’re making it easier to park and enjoy your day at East Beach! 🙌

Starting May 1, East Beach will begin a new pay to park system designed to keep things simple and give you more time on the sand and less time waiting in line.

When you arrive, just park and look for the green ParkMobile signs throughout the lot. Scan the QR code to get started or download the ParkMobile app to pay. Your license plate is used for entry and exit, so there’s no paper ticket to keep up with.

Pricing remains the same at $15 per vehicle for a single entry or $50 for an annual pass.

This is a soft rollout and our team will be onsite to help if you need it.

Parking fees help keep East Beach clean, safe, and open longer for everyone to enjoy. 🏖️

Join us this Saturday, April 18 for the Texas Coastal Roundup from 10 AM to 3 PM!

This event will feature coastal and wildlife groups, hands-on exhibits, ocean critters, a kid zone, food trucks, door prizes, and more, all focused on the Texas Gulf Coast.

The Beach Toy Borrow Boxes are back! You’ll find one here with free beach toys that kids can use for the day, plus a spot to leave extras behind.

It helps reduce single-use plastics and keeps the beach a little cleaner. 🏰🪣🌊 Other locations include 61st Street and Pocket Park 2!
