Every generation has a moment that they will remember forever and they will always remember where they were when it happened.

On 9/11/01, Lori Russo and I were on our honeymoon in Montreal. We woke up with a drive to Quebec City ahead. We never made that trip. Instead we watched the TV in our hotel room, horrified and confused like so many that day.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since this terrible day. Even now, video of that day makes us both get emotional not only because we are Americans, but because we feel such pain for the loss of life.

Always remember. Never forget. And always tell the younger generations how brave those souls were, and tell them of the bravery and courage that followed. 🇺🇸❤️

Happy 25th Anniversary, Lori Russo ! What a life we have made together. From teenagers to parents and everything in between. It’s been an amazing ride and I can’t wait for the next 25. Love you! ❤️🥂🍾

Happy Birthday, Lori Russo. Another year with this beautiful soul in my life. 32 together, and all of them special.

It’s hard to articulate what she means to us, as we marvel at her ability to love unconditionally, lead by example and hold on closely to what matters most to her while expertly juggling a life that is chaotic.

She’s a shining star for us all. Mother. Wife. Sister. Daughter. Leader.

In the chaos of life, we often take for granted those we are lucky enough to walk closely with in this world. I’m beyond grateful for what life has given me, but most of all I am thankful that I have been given the gift of her.

What a blessing to have her in our lives. Happy Birthday, babe. We love you. ❤️

On this inaugural “Thank a PGA Pro Day”, please make sure to let your local professional know how much you care. The men and women in our business who are out on the front lines put in a lot of hard work and dedication.

It’s more than just playing the game, but it’s also being stewards for it as well. They teach, run tournaments, mentor junior golfers, put forward great golf shops…and so much more.

If you are a fellow PGA of America Professional, take a day to thank the people who mentored you and were your guiding light in the game.

I’m proud to be a Middle Atlantic PGA member and the President of the Section. Most of all, I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with my fellow professionals as we grow and nurture the game of golf. 💪🏻❤️🇺🇸

Shoutout to Ty Swann for his great play this week UA Nationals in Orlando. An opening 65 was smokin! It didn’t end the way he wanted but this is just a taste of what’s out there for him if he keeps up the hard work.

Want to get better? Do what Ty does: work hard, be coachable, be humble, and whether it’s good or bad - move on and treat tomorrow like its own challenge. Proud of ya, dude! 🚀👍💪🏻

If it’s 4:00 am here on Thursday of the The Open then it’s coffee time on the couch! A tradition continues in England and in my living room.

So cool to see the Open at Royal Birkdale after playing it last year on an amazing trip to England. To imagine it playing fast and dry is frightening to me. What a course and what a club.

Now on the tee… ☕️🏆☀️

Life is better when you see great people succeed. So a huge congratulations to my friend (& friend to so many in the Middle Atlantic PGA ), Pat Coyner for his work with Wyndham Clark - the U.S. Open Championship Champion!

Pat is too nice to blow his own horn, so some of us are making sure we do it for him. He’s done excellent work with WC, and he deserves to get the credit for it.

He’s also just one hell of a guy and my partner in crime when a Mexican restaurant is visible on the horizon. Then it’s game on! 😂

Congrats to Wyndham Clark on his victory. And Pat - congrats, buddy. All of us are so proud of you. 🏆🥃🇺🇸

Time flies. You wish it wouldn’t but you have no control. So you enjoy life and hope for your kids to turn out ok.

In our case, has become more than we could have ever imagined. Loving. Caring. Respectful. Built with a kind heart.

Congratulations on your 8th grade graduation, buddy. Mom and I are so very proud of you and the human you have become. Our world needs more like you, and we are so thankful you are our son. Love, Dad. ❤️

What a performance by today to become the winner. He slated nerves of steel, and humility and respect in spades. He’s a worthy champion of our major championship.

Luckily, his week went better than this short happened to film him hit the short game area on Wednesday. But I bet he learned from it - and put that knowledge to good use to win his 1st Major. Congrats! 🏆👍🍾
