Here is another story of a young hunter harvesting his buck over a Triple Diamond Clover Plot,

Hey Henry ,
Just thought I would share this with you, my 9 year old shot this beautiful 8 point on Saturday morning, this buck came up out of the sanctuary and spent a few minutes in the Triple Diamond Clover plot before following a trail I made through the clear cut and gave us a 20 yard shot

Congratulations to Paul for harvesting the target buck on the farm this past weekend. We have put a lot of sweat equity in this farm to make it the best deer habitat in the area and it is paying off. If you are looking to take your farm to the next level of deer habitat give us a call or fill out the submittal form in the link attached. https://www.huntingplots.com/consulting

This is an exciting time of year for both us and our clients, when we hear these reports come in. Here’s a report from one of our clients.

“I know” “doe down” probably does not sound very existing to you guys, but I want to let you guys no how much we and the deer like your food plot products. We have a Air B&B property where we have a few very small kill plots. We have two tiny plots where we planted fruit trees this spring, and filled in the rest with the forbs blend, below that we have ½ acre of Wunderbar Greens. We triple strand fenced the greens to deter the deer and it helped but we could tell some deer got through the fence. On Monday eve I went there for a hunt with my recurve and 5 doe came down and fed on the Forbs for a ½ hour any where from 50 to 20 yds until the biggest doe finally went completely broad side at 15yd, this is my third year with a recurve and finally shot a deer. I remember thinking when I started archery hunting 36 years ago how cool it is to get to see deer up close because you need them to be at least 30 yds close, but watching deer at 25yds, needing them at 15yds or closer, and broad side, is a very different level of observation. By the way , John, we did not mow our buck wheat in the Wunderbar Greens I feel the ratio is good even in a good growing season. Good Luck,, did you guys kill any yet?

The buck are definitely on the move this morning but that doesn’t mean that you should be do a morning sit just yet. Wait till later in October when there is a cold front coming in. They reason why not, is very simple. #1 The buck will be most likely to be in his bed by shooting light. #2 Why burn out your stands before the real action starts to happen. Stick to evening sits for now and see if you have a better season than the past. Let us know in the comments.
