FC Bayern Long Island – Founder Message

After a great deal of thought and reflection, we’ve made the decision to close the FC Bayern Long Island chapter as per 1/1/2026

This wasn’t an easy decision. Over the years, attendance at match viewings gradually became smaller, especially for early kickoffs, and continuing as an official chapter was no longer sustainable.

What will always remain are the memories. The early mornings, the big matches, the celebrations, the tough losses, and the friendships built around a shared love for FC Bayern made this chapter special. Whether you joined us once or were there from the very beginning, you were part of something meaningful.

While the chapter is coming to an end, the connection doesn’t disappear. Football has a way of bringing people together beyond any title or structure, and informal meetups may still happen when timing allows.

Thank you to everyone who supported, attended, shared a table, raised a glass, and helped create a sense of community over the years. This chapter may be closing, but the moments we shared will always be part of our story.
