The words "Modern Training, Traditional Values" reflect our vision and encompass the judo principles of "mutual welfare and benefit" and "maximum efficiency". Orange County Judo Training Center believes the traditional values that judo training benefits not only the individual, but society as a whole. Our approach to training is to continually educate ourselves about the latest developments in training and instruction, and employ those developments when they are consistent with the values that have been passed down to us from our heritage in the martial arts. Led by world class instructor Juan Montenegro and his instructional staff, Orange County Judo Training Center offers our students the opportunity to achieve their personal goals whether they are seeking competitive or non-competitive training. His lifelong experience in judo as a competitor and instructor, and his decades of teaching judo at a high level, gives him the skills to be attentive to the individual needs of our students, while they train in a group environment. The sport of judo has an active local competition schedule in Southern California, offering our competitive students many opportunities to participate and compete against other contestants in the region. As an official Olympic sport, judo has a national governing body, USA Judo, which oversees qualifying tournaments for National Teams. Our goal oriented students can compete in officially sanctioned State and Regional Championships, as well as the National Championships which are held annually. The top judo athletes in the USA represent the United States in International tournaments, including the Pan-American Championships, World Championships, and the Olympic Games. Orange County Judo Training Center, have been open since September 9, 2020 and continues to offer a modified class schedule. We have modified Kid’s and Teen’s/Adult’s Judo classes during the week. Please contact us for available class days and times. Kid’s Judo Class: All Levels
Kids 4 years old to 7 years old
Mondays and Fridays – 5:15pm to 6:00pm
Kids 8 years old to 13 years old
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 6:00pm to 7:15pm

Adults and Teens Judo Class: All Levels
Adults and Teens 13 years old and up
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays - 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Adults and Teens Judo Fundamental Class:
Adults and Teens 13 years old and up
Tuesdays and Thursdays - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Adults and Teens Judo Class: All Levels
Saturdays - 10:00am to 11:30am

Adults and Teens Morning Judo Class:
Tuesdays and Thursdays – 11:00am to 12:30pm

Open Mat:
Sundays –11:00am to 1:00pm

This is a temporary class schedule and may change depending on the guidelines of Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Orange County (OC) Healthcare Agency.
