I remembered what today is. It’s exactly 18 years ago when my Dad passed away. Love and Miss ya Pop, RIP. Our small family business will continue on! 🥰

Yesterday I went to Hangar 18 and met up with bartending friend Dakota Kalafut (with his “new” hair!) and his gf Natsumi to try indoor climbing for the first time! Man my arms and legs are sore today! What brand of gym chalk did We use? ENDO Chalk of course! 😉

Our latest shipment of style GC-2 Block Chalk should have been delivered in January, but the Coronavirus outbreak has stopped the cargo ships coming from China. We have sold out of 36 pound Cases but there’s still some 18 lb., 6 lb., and 1 pound quantities left in stock. We apologize about that but there’s nothing we can do about this 😕. NATIONAL GYMNASTICS DAY
National Gymnastics Day is annually observed on the third Saturday in September.
This classical sport has been in existence since the 5th century B.C. The Greeks developed the practice to strengthen warriors skills for battle. Focusing on all the necessary physical traits for hand to hand combat, gymnastics improves strength, dexterity and concentration.
Many of the events first exhibited during the Greek Olympics are a part of competition in the modern Olympics today.
The “father of modern gymnastics” is Friedrich Ludwig Jahn of Germany. In the 1700s he developed many of the events that leave the audiences gasping in awe such as the parallel bars, balance beam and jumping events.
Both an individual and team sport, gymnastics competitions are found all over the world at many age and skill levels. Those competing at the Olympic level and beyond train several hours daily and start at a young age.
