Yesterday wasn't us.

We looked out of sync, made mistakes we don't normally make, and finished pool play 0-3. It would've been easy to hang our heads, make excuses, or let the weekend get away from us.

But that's not who this team is.

This group showed up on Bracket Sunday with a completely different mindset. They competed with confidence, played for each other, and reminded everyone what Gametime softball looks like. Pitching, defense, timely hitting, energy—it all came together.

To go from 0-3 in pool play to finishing in the Top 8 out of 28 16u teams at the USA Heart of Dixie Exposure says everything about the heart and character of these young ladies. They refused to let one bad day define their weekend. Not to mention being on of the youngest 16u teams competing this weekend

As a coach, I couldn't be more proud. Championships are great, but watching a team respond to adversity, fight back, and never quit means even more.

This weekend gave us a reminder that success isn't measured by how you start—it's measured by how you respond when things don't go your way.

Proud to coach this group.

The stage is set.

This weekend, Gametime VS28/29 heads to Veterans Park in Alabaster for the DC Elite Stars Over Alabama Showcase, where some of the top teams from across the Southeast will battle for every inning, every out, and every win.

Our girls have put in the work. They've battled through the heat, the practices, the lessons, and the challenges. Now it's time to compete.

Happy Father’s Day!!!

What a weekend for our Gametime VS28/29 girls at the 43rd Alabama State Games in the High School Division (18u).

Out of 21 teams, these young ladies battled their way to a 3rd-place finish against some of the best competition in the state. Even more impressive, only four 16U teams finished in the Top 4 while the majority of the tournament field was made up of 18U teams.

This group never backed down from the challenge. They competed with grit, toughness, and heart every game, proving that age doesn't determine how hard you're willing to fight. The growth, resilience, and determination they showed throughout the weekend made us incredibly proud.

A Top 3 finish against older competition is something these girls should be proud of, but we're not finished yet. We will continue to work, continue to improve, and continue to chase championships.

Proud of every player, every family, and everyone who supports this team. The future is bright for Gametime VS28/29.
