The first opportunity, the City Wide Spring Cleanup requires you to schedule a pick up of your items that you place by the street. Please call the Public Works Department at 205-631-3394 by Wednesday April 15th by 12:00 pm to schedule your pick up for the week. The second opportunity, the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is on April 25th at 8:00 - 11:30 am at First Baptist Church South Campus 940 Main Street Gardendale AL. Please consider taking advantage of these opportunities to dispose of your unwanted items.

Jefferson County Residents, the time is coming for you to dispose of any hazardous waste that you might have at your house. The flyer below provides the details for this year's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day. This service is provided by the Jefferson County Health Department and is greatly appreciated by Jefferson County residents.
