Congrats to all of our Allstar teams that finished up this weekend. Our 7U girls, 10U girls, 13U girls, and 8U boys were crowned champions in their 31 North tournaments. Our 6U boys and 15U boys were runners up. It’s been a great season everyone! Can’t wait to see everyone next year!

Congrats to the winners of our post season tournaments! We are so proud of this league and hope to continue to improve Gardendale basketball for years to come. Thank you to all the players and fans for your dedication. It has been a blast! Go Rockets!

We have had an amazing inaugural season of Gardendale Basketball Cheer. Our incredible cheer director, Shelby Hays, has gone above and beyond to make this a great experience. She assembled a wonderful team of coaches that helped these girls shine. This is only the beginning. We can’t wait to see this program in the future. The sky’s the limit for our Rocket Cheerleaders!!

Our 6U players broke in the new goals this weekend after playing on portable goals for some of the season. We are so thankful to Bragg Middle School, the City of Gardendale, Bryan Knox at the Gardendale Civic Center, and the many other people that have made all of this possible. Gardendale loves families, and it shows when they invest in the local sports leagues like ours.

We set a goal to raise $5,000 at our Audrey Howard Benefit. Well, the GYBL community blew that out of the water and raised $11,567 over the weekend for the Howard family!! Gardendale knows how to show up, and we could not have been prouder to give yalls donations to the Howard family last night at our coaches meeting.

Thank you to everyone that donated, wore their tshirts, wore yellow, and prayed for Audrey. We are standing with you, Audrey! Keep fighting!

We have a wonderful opportunity to support the Rockets this Monday 2/2. It’s Senior Night. All GYBL players get in free with their jersey.

We are getting closer and closer to our big Audrey Howard Benefit Weekend! Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the family. Let’s knock that goal out of the park. Donations will be accepted at both locations this weekend. We have shirts for sale as well. Let’s show this family how Gardendale cares for one of our own!
