🥎COLLEGE PROSPECT HS TEAM TRYOUT🥎

The COB Lady Shockers HS team is having tryouts this Saturday, August 8. We are based out of Garner, NC (Crack of the Bat facility location) and practice in Four Oaks.

🥎All positions considered. Great opportunity for earned playing time.

🥎Looking for players w/graduation years 2027-29. Strong 2030s will be considered too.

🥎Must be willing to put in work on your own. All players attending tryout must want to play collegiately.

🥎Must have a great teammate mentality. We build around the entire team not just one or two players.

🥎Both coaches do not have kids on the team.

🥎Head coach Kevin Doepp (pronounced Depp) is a fulltime coach and hitting instructor. He was a collegiate outfielder for Virginia Wesleyan University.

💥COLLEGE PROSPECTS TEAM TRYOUT ALERT💥

The COB Lady Shockers 18U team, based out of Garner, NC (location of our facility), will be holding tryouts on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 1-3 pm at Candlestick Park, 441 Parker Rd., Four Oaks.

🥎Great opportunity for pitchers as we’re graduating one of our two pitchers on the roster. If you’re looking for more mound time, this is a tremendous opportunity to earn it.

🥎2027s-2029s welcome. Will consider a 2030 if it’s the right fit. All positions welcome to tryout.

🥎Fall schedule is already set with a competitive Showcase schedule in NC and SC.

🥎Players attending tryout must want to play at the collegiate level.

🥎Players attending tryout who end up making the team must be able to put in daily work on their own related to skill, strength, and speed/agility. This is the expectation at the HS level in order to play collegiately. Players must be self-motivated to reach excellence.

🥎Practices are once per week on a weekend day to be determined.

🥎Head Coach is Kevin Doepp (pronounced Depp) a former collegiate standout at Virginia Weslean University and currently a professional hitting instructor and owner of Crack of the Bat, LLC. Both Coach Kevin and assistant, Coach Jay, do not have a kid on the team.

On the heels of a strong 5-1 PGF finish…

The COB Lady Shockers 18U team (based outside of Raleigh, NC) is looking for a pitcher to join our roster including the opportunity to guest play in our next tournament, East Coast Showdown, July 10-12 in Richmond, VA.

We are a college prospects team and play tournaments (Showcases and regular ones) in NC, SC and VA. We have players playing at the next level.

This opportunity is a solid one for someone who wants to grow as they get time on the pitching plate.

We just completed a strong 5-1 finish in Rock Hill, SC in the highly competitive PGF East Coast Fireworks tournament.

These three Lady Shockers got after it today as Cleveland took on Fuquay Varina with the Rams defeating the Bengals 3-2 at FVHS.

Myra Duffy (2029), Elaina Slaughter (2028) and Piper Reese (2029) have extremely bright futures. Great to see them competing hard today.
