We are super stoked to be back at Nelson Ledges for a full weekend of great cars and awesome people.

September 1-3 2023 at Nelson Ledges

Take your car on track with the HPDE (High Performance Driver Education).

Don't worry if you've never been on the track before. In addition to our Advanced and Intermediate run groups, we have a special "First Timers" group just for you. First Timers' will receive a ride-along instructor, plenty of classroom time between sessions and you'll be embarking on your first track driving adventure with an ultra-friendly group dedicated to making your experience awesome.

Sat / Sun 9/2-9/3 - All Cars HPDE - 2 Days (all cars welcome) $475

This is more than just a track weekend. If you're not ready to take the plunge, check out what else we have going on.

Turbo Cup Reunion - check out some of the most iconic Weissach-built racecars.

Car Show - for those of us without factory-built racecars

Mystery Poker Rally - driving around, solving clues, ending someplace cool, then having lunch

Rally-X - making a mess of the grass while being timed and not hitting any cones *maybe.

Awards - trophies for all sorts of things, not just the "best of" car show classes.

Camping - stay the whole weekend at the track (Thursday - Monday)

Bonfire - yep, we light a chord of wood on the infield Saturday night

Beer Swap - bring something interesting, swap with your friends while enjoying the bonfire.

All in all, it's a great weekend. This will be the 22nd year we've been doing this and it gets bigger and better each time. Come see what it's all about. You'll be glad you did.

Friday (Oct 7):
🐉Check in at Fontana Village Resort begins at 4pm.
🐉 6-8pm at Tapoco Tavern for casual dinner and greeting (for those who arrive Friday)

Saturday (Oct 8):
🐉 Breakfast at Fontana Village Resort 7-9am
🐉TAIL OF THE DRAGON group cruise 9am-Noonish
🐉Car show at Fontana Village Resort 1-4pm
🐉Dinner 5pm at Wildwood
🐉630-1100pm Fire pit and beer swap at the Putt-Putt Fire Pit at Fontana Village

Sunday (Oct 9):
🐉 Breakfast 7-9am
🐉Group Cruise to Look Rock Viewing Platform

All cars are welcome, bring a lawn chair, bring a camera, bring your favorite person (or dog), bring warm-ish clothes, bring your favorite brew or thermos of cider, jug of Fresca, whatever is clever, it's going to be a blast!!

Our HPDE event is a fun way to learn high performance driving skills while taking your car on track in a safe and controlled environment. Prior experience is not required - ride-along instructors are provided. This weekend program is geared towards both newcomers and experienced drivers alike.
