We’re still trying to catch our breath after a hectic March… and honestly, our legs feel about the same 😅

But thanks to all of YOU (and our amazing sponsors), the last of the donation checks officially went out Monday totaling over $6000! We gave out over $2000 to the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard and Garrettsville People Tree Sharing Program and then sent out more today to our Headwaters volunteers being the amazing James A. Garfield Cross Country Team, as well as the Portage Park District that takes care of the beautiful Headwaters Trail we finish on and the Shenanigans Cycling that worked two aid stations and dig sag, sweep, tear down and more!!! That’s what this whole crazy gravel circus is really about, and we couldn’t do it without this community. A HUGE THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!

We’re still catching up after an incredible weekend! Between the event and being out of the office leading up to it, the Road Apple Gang is working through results and finalizing our winners for the comp entries next year, the women’s $100 winner and the 4 timed segment results. Please give us a few days as we get everything put together and shared.

In the meantime, we just want to say how grateful we are for this community. Seeing so many people come out to participate, support one another, and make the event what it is each year truly means a lot to us.

One of the coolest parts of the weekend was welcoming a special visitor who traveled all the way from North Carolina to be part of it! She rocked the course!!!

We also love hearing the stories that come out of the weekend—whether it was a great shot, a memorable moment with friends and family, or just a fun day spent together. If you have a story from the event, please share it with us. Those stories are what make this event so meaningful year after year.

Spent yesterday tearing down the course, putting a million things away and trying to get things organized after a super chaotic few days. Trying to catch up, but the real job called today. More clips and pics from the day coming soon.
