HITTING WITH Ivan Quackenbush this Fall at THE BACKSTOP BUNKER ‼️

We are excited to announce that Coach Ivan Quackenbush will be training hitters this fall at The Backstop Bunker in Pinellas Park, FL.

Ivan is coming off of the 2026 season which he spent as a Minor League Hitting Coach in the Boston Red Sox org, where he helped the Low-A team break the franchise home run record and lead the league in doubles.

Prior, Ivan coached at Driveline Baseball, an industry leader in innovative player development strategies, and was also the catching and hitting coach at Maryville University in St. Louis.

Ivan is here this off-season and is now taking 1:1 clients looking for advanced hitting development.

SWIMMER DRILL 🏊‍♂️
Dominate pitches at the top of the zone 🔝

This drill can help guys feel the proper action and timing of receiving pitches at the top of the zone.

The goal is to “dunk” the ball back down into the strike zone.

Not pull it, or yank it, or roll it.

DUNK IT with your glove actively catching the pitch while working back out through it and down toward home plate.

Try this drill to feel the rhythm and direction we’re going for when receiving pitches at the top. ⚡️
