hey guys. hope everybody is living well. im still looking for a driver for friday nights. 100 bucks cash, paid that night, plus i'll throw 20 in the tank. an extra 100 bucks a week always helps. pick me up in miller at 5 or 6., i'm totally flexible. finish up at 12 or 1. bring your charger, it gets pretty boring. NEED to work tomorrow. potential weekly gig. thanks y'all, for hearing me out. make it a good day.

hey guys. i have a request. a question really. i need to work more than i currently do. my driver is a super busy guy, and can rarely pick up shifts. i need to find a driver who might want to make a little extra cash. its super easy to the point of being boring. as in, bring your charger. you pretty much hang out on your phone, and drive me to a new spot every 30 minutes or so. i can only pay 12 bucks an hour, but its in cash, under the table, paid same day. and i'll throw in another 20 bucks for gas and expenses. if you know anybody, please pass along my number : 219 390 7095 . i like open windows and music if thats ok. no rap please. let me know, and thanks for thinkin about it. live well

04/09/2024

also, I couldn't do this without you guys. you are appreciated. and me and Coyote are grateful for your support. see you out there

Hey folks. I had a request for a list of all my flavor options. Its a little complicated. First let me say that there is no set, completed list. It's growing all the time. damn near weekly we add a new flavor.
I work for you guys. If you want me to make a particular flavor, you call, ask, and i try to create something that fits your ideas. whatever they may be. maybe you want something not on my list. maybe something you saw once, or maybe you're imagining something nobody's ever made before. you explain to me what you're hoping for with as much detail as you can. we'll bat it back and forth until we can come up with a fleshed out idea. at least a hopeful direction. and then i go to work. it might take a little time for me to figure it out, thinking, shopping, even a bit of trial and error, but you're phone will ring. i will make you something good. doin ok so far, right? 🙂
But enough jibber jabber. Most of what i make is beef, but again, i'm open. i use only American beef. i trim off damn near all the fat. I make steak bites; little bite sized pieces that are cut a little thicker, with a softer kind of chewy. or i make a cowboy cut, thinner strips cut like a pieces of bacon, all dried out and tough. real rip and tear. half of what i make each day is spicy, half of its mild. half of it's sweet, half of its suggarless. (thats right my diabetic friends!) i usually make 6 or 8 kinds of beef each week. Here's a list of things i've made recently that appear to be pretty popular. But again, i work for you guys. you ask, and i cook. even deliver for free on fridays.

MILD-
teriyaki
A-1 on a steak
sugarless black pepper
slow roasted garlic with carmelized onions
sugarless lemon pepper
orange beef
bbq
boubon and brown sugar
italien beef
balsamic and bacon with sweet onions
(that one is compliments of our good friend Big Ed)

SPICY-
sugarless spicy garlic
fire candy
scorpion
cajun
sweet bell peppers
horseradish
Jamaican jerk
jack daniels bbq
smoked jalepeno
jalepeno with fresh pineapple
curry
kung pao
banana pepper
italien beef with hot peppers
mango habenero

and we've begun making a new taco jerky,, with a different kind of taco every couple weeks. so far its doing great. we've made...
classic tacos
tacos al pastor
chipotle and lime
this week i'm workin on some beef tacos with fresh tomatillos and hot green chiles.

most of y'all know i do some ham each week. I cut it into big chunks and leave'em real tender. Double smoked teriyaki is by far the most popular,, but spicy Jamaican je**ed ham is also real good.

I try to do some vegetarian options as well. spicy garlic portobellos are good, and wood smoked teriyaki eggplant has been well recieved. I like the spicy sweet potatos myself.

I'm working on some spicy smoked apple slices as a sweet treat.

and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I'm making dog treats. Those who've known me for a while know my dog is my best friend. For those of you who are dog people, these are close trimmed, choice grade, deeply soked, American beef. They are gluten free, with no sugar, no garlic, no onions, and no other chemicals. They are of the highst quality, made with love and respect.

I want to become your dog treat guy.

thanks for listening, and i appreciate your support.
also i'm better at answering the phone than facebooking.
Live well

Hey folks This is gonna be a different kind of post. I need a little help. I've gotta find a new little house for rent, and i don't know anybody. But I figure you guys do. So please, give this just a moment of your thought, share it on facebook or mention it to whomever you might think of. Please and thank you for just a moment of your time.
I can only afford 800-1000 a month for rent. I make a great product from high quality fresh foods and i charge as little as possible and still get by. I get to cook and create for a living, and my time is my own, and that's a gift. But I'm money poor. Most days I don't mind, but finding a place to live is proving different. Difficult.
Some of you guys know, my dog is my best friend. He needs a yard to run in. I am an outdoors guy; I need a lawn to mow, and a place to garden and landscape. I don't care how many bedrooms, I don't care how nice it is, I barely even care what town its in. All it needs is a yard. I'll even put up a little temporary fence.
I remodelled before i learned to cook. I can do about anything between the roof and the foundation, and I enjoy it. So i don't even care what shape it's in, as long as i have permission to fix it up. Any body who knows anything, please call. you are welcome to pass on my phone number 219 390 7095.
Thanks everybody, for supporting my business. You guys change my life. I hope this wasn't out of line.

hey everybody. finishing up the jerky for this week. thought i"d start reaching outbefore i go. I'm going out on friday night. I'll be heading trough cedar lake, over to spanky's, down into dyer and over to griffith. I'll finish it up with schererville at greg's, the doghouse in merrilvill, and end on the square in crown point. If you're mild ialways do a teriyaki, a sugarless black pepper, and a sugaress lemon pepper. I'm adding some A1 this week, and my brand new pot roast. A whole different product I'm real proud of.
If you wanna burn a little, i'm doing some smoked jalepeno leather sticks, of course some very hot sugarless spicy garlic steak bites, and an extra hoy Carribbean sweet jerky with fresh mango and pineapple. I have made one double smoked teriyaki ham, and Im now doing an every week batch of dog treats; grain free fresh wood moked american beef. Y'all have a great weekend, I'll see you out there.

Hey everybody. Jerky Guy here.I know i am about the worst facebooker amongst us. I am gonna try to change that. I'll be putting up a list of flavors i am making each week, and the towns i'll be delivering and selling in that week as well. AS ALWAYS, LET ME KNOW WHAT SPECIAL REQUESTS YOU HAVE. sorry, caps lock button gets me all the time. I am still doing free deliveries on fridays. whoever calls me for special request gets to deide what flavors i am making. so far this week i am doing a teriyaki, a sugarless black pepper, a slow roasted garlic with carmelized onions, a sugarless lemon pepper strips, some spicy jamaican jerk beef strips, sugarless spicy garlic (HOT), and there is room for two more. Let me know! I am doing my double smoked ham in big tender chunks; i am open to requests on the ham flavor as well. I am doing smoked american beef dog treats now: they are sugar free, gluten free, and all naturally prepared over burning wood. I am also bringing back some spicy portobellos for anyone who is feeling a little vegetarian that day. vegan upon request. reach out if you like. I'll see y'all on friday. live well, stay healthy.

Good Morning. 50 degrees today; gotta love it! Definitely taking Griz out for a walk.

It's jerky time! I'll be making a batch for Wednesday and Friday. I think that'll be pretty standard. I'll still do smaller personal orders any time you guys want. But the big batches and doing rounds through all the towns, selling all that good sweet jerky,...that will be for Wednesday and Friday evenings.
So what are we doing new this week? I worked out a new mild beef. To all my carnivores out there. You know those big au jus sandwiches you get in Chicago, piled high with meat, meat and more meat. Served with the crusty bread, au jus for dipping, and giardinerra? Italien beef. I worked out a sugarless recipe for jerky that eats like a big Italien beef au jus sandwich. I even made a little giardinerra jerky to put in each bag. Yum. it's good eatin.
For spicy beef I did a new Jamaican je**ed beef. Its chilli and cumin, garlic and onion, thyme and oregano, cinamon and hot chillis. Lots of different flavors, all brought together in one little bite. I layer the marinades, so as you chew it, the flavor changes and evolves, with a nice habenero burn at the end. You gotta try it to believe it.
And finally we're doing a new ham. It rocks. Super smoky and sweet with a little heat at the end. It's a tangy jalepeno barbeque ham. I know nobody else is making ham jerky, and maybe it sounds a little wierd. But trust me, my regulars all know. If you eat ham, try mine. If those big tender chunks are'nt some of the best ham you've ever had,
don't get it. Tangy jalepeno barbeque...It even sounds delicious!
That's it for this week. Let me know what you like.
You keep yourselves healthy.
I'll see you out there.

Hey everybody. Lots of folks have been asking me for a list of flavors I can make for you. First let me say this; there is no set list. If you can think of something you want, I can figure out how to make it. All requests are welcome. Half the flavors I've created, I made because one of you asked me "Hey, can you make me... this." So I made it and now half my customers like it. So thanks to all of you for your requests and special orders. That being said, nhere is a list of some of the more popular flavors I've made so far.

---MILD---
teriyaki
classic
black pepper
roasted garlic
sweet onion
pot roast
barbeque
A--1
korean bbq
low sodium
gluten free
ham
ranch
Italien beef
bacon

---SPICY---
jalepeno
smoked jalepeno
thai
fire candy
spicy garlic
spicy barbeque
Jack Daniels barbeque
mango habenero
reaper
Caribbean
Cajun
spicy teriyaki
general tso's beef
Jamaican jerk

ANYWAY, you get the idea. If you can think of it, I can make it.
For my diabetics and quito heads, half the jerky I make on any given day is sugarless. For my vegetarians and vegans, the portobello mushrooms are the most popular request. The eggplant is good, and I like a bag of mixed root veges. Also the sweet and spicy apples are yummy.
Give me some heads up for your special requests. Good jerky takes a lot of work and time, time, and more time.

Thanks folks, for all your support. I am proud and pleased to be your jerky guy.
Talk to me soon. Keep yourselves healthy.
