Our Mississinewa school community is grieving following a tragic accident early this morning involving members of our Mississinewa family. Our hearts are with the students, families, and everyone impacted by this heartbreaking event.
Out of care and respect for our students, staff, families, and all those affected, tonight’s Homecoming Dance has been postponed. We will share a new date later this week.
We also recognize that many of our students may need to be together tonight. Mississinewa High School will be open from 6:00–8:00 p.m. this evening for students who would like to come together and support one another. Therapists and school staff will be available to provide grief support and a safe place for students to gather, talk, or simply be with one another.
During this difficult time, we ask our entire school community to come together with compassion and care for one another. Please keep everyone affected, along with their families, friends, and loved ones, in your thoughts and prayers.
We are a school family, and we will support one another through this. ❤️
