Our Leadership Principle for September is Goal Setting! That means we are seamlessly incorporating lessons on Goal Setting into our classes this month so you may notice your child come home with a fun handout that helps them learn this important leadership quality. At L.C.A. we teach more than just dance 💜

It's August 1st! Time to announce the Leadership Principle for this month - Communication! Such a vital skill. Effective and confident Communication is essential in every aspect of life, but especially for leadership and success. We will be incorporating lessons on Communication into our classes all month long. You'll see a new activity sheet coming home with the dancers and we encourage you to have a conversation (communicate *wink, wink*) with them about the importance of it at home too 💜

It's July 1st which means a new Leadership Principle is up for launch! This month we will be incorporating lessons on Discipline into all our classes. Teaching our students the importance and necessity of self-discipline is vital to not only their dance training but to everyday life. We are so excited to help them learn about this important topic and the many ways it will improve their life 💜

It's June 1st and that means a new Leadership Principle is in *focus*! Did you catch the hint? That's right, this month's Principle happens to be - Focus!!

We will be highlighting (and continue to incorporate) lessons on Focus in our dance classes and rehearsals and we are *so* proud of everyone who is focusing in their classes and on our upcoming production! Focus is certainly needed to have a wonderful show and progress in our skills! 😊

This month in our dance classes we will be incorporating lessons on the importance of Knowledge and how leadership requires knowledge, understanding, and experience in order to lead effectively.

You can help us teach this lesson by encouraging your dancers to practice their recital dances and skills at home so they are confident in their Knowledge of what to do 💜
