It's June 1st and that means a new Leadership Principle is in *focus*! Did you catch the hint? That's right, this month's Principle happens to be - Focus!!

We will be highlighting (and continue to incorporate) lessons on Focus in our dance classes and rehearsals and we are *so* proud of everyone who is focusing in their classes and on our upcoming production! Focus is certainly needed to have a wonderful show and progress in our skills! 😊

It's May 1st and that means it's time to launch into a new Leadership Principle! Knowledge!

This month in our dance classes we will be incorporating lessons on the importance of Knowledge and how leadership requires knowledge, understanding, and experience in order to lead effectively.

You can help us teach this lesson by encouraging your dancers to practice their recital dances and skills at home so they are confident in their Knowledge of what to do 💜

Reminder!

The Academy is closed for Spring break from today (Friday, April 3) to Friday, April 10. Classes resume on Monday, April 13, 2026. Have a wonderful Easter and please remind your dancers to practice at home, especially if they are part of the cast for The Book of Legacy 💜

Responsibility! Being responsible means being dependable, keeping promises, and honoring our commitments. It is taking accountability for our actions and accepting the consequences for what we say and do. It also means developing our potential.

We will be incorporating lessons on Responsibility into our dance classes throughout the month and we encourage you to reinforce this lesson at home by talking with your child about what it means to be responsible 💜

It's March 1st and that means a new Leadership Principle is here! This month we will be placing a focus on Teamwork! When we are in dance class, and especially when we are learning choreography, we are a team; working together to reach a common goal - creating works of moving art! Teamwork truly makes the dream work 💜

We will be incorporating valuable lessons on Teamwork into all of our dance classes throughout the entire month of March. Please help us reinforce this lesson by having a conversation about Teamwork with your child at home too! 💜
