St. Johns Central Bass Tournament

Results are up! And the July heat didn't stop this month’s tournament from being a nail biter for the first place spot! It was about as close as it gets, decided by a mere 0.07 lbs!

1st Place: Robert Jacobs & Jessie Twitchel edged out first with 26.13 lbs! Their bag was certainly helped my that 9.08lb kicker that also took Biggest Bass for the month!

2nd Place: Anthony Courtney & Steve Courtney were only ounces away from the win with an amazing 26.06 lbs! Anthony & Steve also had an incredible 8.66lber to take away 2nd biggest bass!

3rd Place: David Martindale & Michael secured third with a 19.65 lbs.

What an incredible day out on the water for our June 7th tournament! A huge shoutout to everyone who came out to compete, but a massive congratulations is in order for our Top 4 Teams and our Big Bass heavy hitters who brought some absolute tanks to the scales!

- 1st: Justin & Ernie took first with a massive 33.35 lbs! They didn't just take the win, they also anchored their bag with the Biggest Bass of the tournament, weighing in at a 8.96 lbs!

- 2nd: Bubba & Bryson locked down second with an incredible 32 lbs! They also had second biggest bass of the day with a 8.94 lbs kicker!

- 3rd: Travis Totman & Kevin Lucas placed third with a limit weighing 23.58 lbs!

- 4th: Steve & Anthony Courtney rounded out the top tier, with a strong 22.94 lbs!

What a day on the water for the St. Johns Central Bass Tournament! The bite was active this past Sunday, April 12th, and our anglers definitely brought their A-game to the scales.

Huge congratulations to our top finishers and everyone who came out to compete!

1st Place: Zach Temperly & Will – Crushing it with a massive 31.10 lbs!

2nd Place: Steve Bishop & Matt Gee – A solid bag at 26.56 lbs.

3rd Place: Andrew Groswald & Randy Groswald – Rounding out the top three with 24.12 lbs.

We saw some absolute tanks come across the scales!

Biggest Bass: Meredith Cooper & Roger brought in a monster 9.52 lb kicker!

2nd Big Bass: Mike Fletcher & Jason weren't far behind with an impressive 8.76 lber.

After further discussion with tournament members we have decided to RESCHEDULE the February event for this Sunday the 8th. We already have the trophies and exceptions pulled. Please like and share this post so we can get the word out to all members. See y’all on February 8th. Tight Lines!

Out of an abundance of caution, due to extreme cold and wind, have decided to RESCHEDULE the first tournament of the year (February 1st). We had a lot of calls from past tournament members expressing concerns so we made the difficult decision to cancel this months event and start the season on February 8th .

The Rules for 2026 will be pinned at the top of our profile page when they’re finalized. The changes relate to the Classic tournament that will allow for additional qualifying anglers! We’re excited to kick off the new season with you all.
