2nd: Tony Stegg & Wayne Elliot – Taking the runner-up spot with 19.78 lbs. They also took biggest bass with a 6.94 lb kicker!

3rd: Justin Myers & Ernie Ellenburg – Rounding out the top three with 19.66 lbs.

2nd Big Bass: Zach Temperly & Chris Eastman with a solid 6.64 lb catch.

What a day on the water for the St. Johns Central Bass Tournament! The bite was active this past Sunday, April 12th, and our anglers definitely brought their A-game to the scales.

Huge congratulations to our top finishers and everyone who came out to compete!

1st Place: Zach Temperly & Will – Crushing it with a massive 31.10 lbs!

2nd Place: Steve Bishop & Matt Gee – A solid bag at 26.56 lbs.

3rd Place: Andrew Groswald & Randy Groswald – Rounding out the top three with 24.12 lbs.

We saw some absolute tanks come across the scales!

Biggest Bass: Meredith Cooper & Roger brought in a monster 9.52 lb kicker!

2nd Big Bass: Mike Fletcher & Jason weren't far behind with an impressive 8.76 lber.

Tournament results are up! Congrats to all! David Martindill and Michael took away the WIN with over 23.14lbs 💪 They also had the second Biggest Bass with an 6.64lber!

Robert Jacobs and Jesse Twitchell were right behind in 2nd place with 21.80lbs. They had Big Bass with a 7.38lber!

Third place went to Travis Totman and Kevin Lucas with 21.30lbs 🎣

Fourth place was 20.52lbs brought in by Colton Hayes and Cody Vines. They went home with a Jolly Gator Gift Card!

After further discussion with tournament members we have decided to RESCHEDULE the February event for this Sunday the 8th. We already have the trophies and exceptions pulled. Please like and share this post so we can get the word out to all members. See y’all on February 8th. Tight Lines!

Out of an abundance of caution, due to extreme cold and wind, have decided to RESCHEDULE the first tournament of the year (February 1st). We had a lot of calls from past tournament members expressing concerns so we made the difficult decision to cancel this months event and start the season on February 8th .

Come on out and join us for the First Tournament of the season on the first Sunday in February at Mullet Lake Park in Geneva, FL! Thats February 1st, 2026!

The Rules for 2026 will be pinned at the top of our profile page when they’re finalized. The changes relate to the Classic tournament that will allow for additional qualifying anglers! We’re excited to kick off the new season with you all.

Today we held the St John’s Central Bass Classic Tournament to cap off the 2025 season. We are so grateful for all who showed up today and for the all anglers that show up throughout the season and make this tournament great! Tournament results below ⬇️ congrats to all!!

- First Place: Anthony & Steve Courtney with 19.36lbs (worth mentioning theyve fished this tournament for 18 years and it’s their first Classic theyve won!!!)
- Second Place: Kevin Lucas & Travis Totman with 17.94lbs
- Third Place: James Tyler & Rodney Marks with 17.60lb; also had Big Bass 6lbs
- Fourth Place: Travis Hansen with 16.88lbs; he also had second big bass 5.30lbs
- Fifth Place: Justin Myers & Earnie Ellenburg with 15.48lbs; Justin & Ernie were also the point leaders for the year!

Congrats to Bubba Myers who had the biggest bass of the year with a 10.60lber that he brought in at the March tournament!
