Kinesiology is the science of human movement… but for me, it’s the foundation behind why I teach the way I do.
It studies how the muscles, joints, nervous system, posture, breathing patterns, and movement mechanics all work together to support the body. Instead of only focusing on “working out,” kinesiology looks at how your body moves and why dysfunction, pain, instability, or compensation patterns may be happening in the first place.
This background allows me to go beyond simply teaching Pilates exercises. I assess posture, movement patterns, joint alignment, breathing mechanics, pelvic floor coordination, and core stability so exercises can be adapted specifically to your body and needs.
That’s especially important for:
• postpartum recovery
• pelvic floor dysfunction
• chronic pain
• hypermobility
• injury prevention & rehab
• menopause/perimenopause support
• improving daily movement & strength
I combine kinesiology + clinical Pilates + pelvic floor integration to help women build stability, move more efficiently, reduce pain, and feel more connected to their bodies long-term.
Because good movement is about about understanding your body better 🤍

If you’ve been called “double-jointed” your whole life… this could explain SO much more than flexibility.
Hypermobility, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) are often missed for years and can show up as pelvic pain, dizziness, fatigue, bladder issues, painful intimacy, and chronic instability. Your symptoms are not “just in your head.” Awareness is the first step 🤍

My first Mother’s Day 🤍 Becoming a mom to Hannah has changed me in ways I never expected. I’ve learned patience on a whole new level and I remind myself often that even the hard moments are just a phase that will pass.
I never saw myself being a stay-at-home mom, but now I truly feel like it’s the greatest gift which is getting to be there for every moment, every step, every little change.
Wishing a beautiful Mother’s Day to all women; whether you’re a mom, hoping to be, supporting one, or simply nurturing in your own way.
There’s something so powerful in all of it 🤍

You deserve providers who recognize hypermobility, take pelvic pain seriously, offer multidisciplinary care, and empower you instead of dismissing you. Pelvic health is quality of life (and yes, improvement is possible).
This is not the end of your story.
There are ways to build stability, improve tissue resilience, reduce flares, and support your pelvic floor without pushing your body into shutdown. The key is thoughtful, progressive loading and restoring stability from the inside out. Save this if it sounds like you. Share it with someone who needs to hear it.
